He controlled the whole country with his powerful army, the Tonton Macoute.
He murdered all their voodoo priests.
He killed a lot of people, remember that, Grandmere? (RUSTLING) Remember your mother and Tonton Macoute, Grandmere? Mommy and Daddy only answer to me, like I'm Papa Doc and they're my Tonton Macoute.
