of the infection rate,

are on lockdown.
The government has declared
a national state of emergency.

There has been a surge
of evacuees to Jeju Island,
the furthest point
from the infection epicenter.
Any breach in the quarantine network
would pose serious risks
to the island community.
Temporary shelters have been built,
and emergency measures are in place.
Anyone attempting to enter the island
must undergo
a mandatory three-day quarantine.
Some have voiced concerns regarding
the number of refugees on Jeju Island
