Being a blood spatter analyst can feet nicely into my night time activities.
There's an unnatural void here.
Almost as if someone was standing here.
My lefty killer slashed the victim's neck from right to left.
Held her close as she bled out.
Held her as she died in front of someone else.
Most likely male from the foot size.
But was it a victim? Or did my killer have an accomplice? I've seen this kind of kill before.
The murders occurred over the last two years.
Between December 1st and New Year's day.
The holiday season.
Five a year for the last two years.
Lucky for me, prostitute murders don't rank high in the pecking order of homicide.
All taking place in different locations throughout Miami.
A star.
My killer is making a star.
He's only killed four this year.
Which means Flagler Street in the vicinity of North West 7th Avenue.
And tomorrow is New Year's Eve.
Maybe I can find my killer before he kills again.
It's a long shot, but the killer has his own code he follows.
Being able to find my killer in a street full of predators.
Though I never really understood the sexual urge, I do recognize the look on their faces the need.
Looks like someone else is on the hunt tonight too.
