Victory Parade

Sometimes the bad guys win.
And sometimes, it's way more complicated than that.
Welcome! Do you think the mayor's still mad at me? Well, you publicly accused her of stealing a herd of wild horses and ruined her daughter's birthday surprise.
She'll still be mad at you in the year 2099.
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you our Olympic hopeful, Callum Elphick! And runner-up, Gaby Grant! You're being really brave about this, sweetheart.
I know you wanted to be up there.
Thanks, Grandpa.
I am trying to be supportive, but you know, it's hard when, well - that.
- Five, six, seven, eight! Woo! Woo! Whoa! And that's how you do "The Callum.
" I want to see you all doing it when I ride out for the under-18s.
Woo! My folks.
Did I mention my dad was the captain of the under-18s? All my brothers made the team.
You know, you could say this is my destiny.
How long is your destiny going to take? Got somewhere better to be? My horse is missing.
Along with her entire herd.
I should be out there finding her, not stuck here watching you make up stupid dance moves and waving like a plum.
We should really be getting you packed.
I just wanted to stay and help find the wild herd.
Maybe best leave all that to the police.
Whatever your mom decides about boarding school, just think of Scout.
If he can be brave, so can you.
I'm gonna miss this weird little island.
And you, famous cousin Zoe.
Oh.
Maybe you don't have to miss me.
Maybe me and Raven can go back to America with you.
Let's get you sorted.
Bye! Thank you! Thank you! This is definitely the skull of a wild horse.
But it's old.
Like, really old.
It's not one of the missing herd.
That's weird.
Ah.
There is something else strange.
This erosion here looks like it's from some kind of chemical damage.
Poison! Creepy butler guy's been poisoning the wild ponies! Probably for centuries! No, Becky, wait! Jade, what did we learn in English class? It is always the butler! Come on, we need to go to the castle! I don't get it.
I have to go, you have a choice.
The island just wouldn't be the same without you.
No, it'd be better.
What? I had one goal this summer, and I failed.
And the worst thing is, is I was so wrapped up in tryouts, I let everyone down.
Zoe! I'm spoiling everyone's summer.
Ah, look! There's one seat left on Aaron's flight! I can get there first and I can take care of everything for Raven.
Promise me you'll talk to Pin and your friends first.
I'm not going to change my mind.
Just talk to them.
Okay.
It's happening all over again.
Huh? Maggie, your auntie, left just like this.
She just couldn't see how much this place needed her.
And how she needed it.
Then we have to show her.
You're so lucky.
Your very own pony! How did that get there? I only cleaned her an hour ago.
It's kinda the deal with ponies.
They get a bit muddy.
Not my pony! Princess is going to be different.
Wait here.
Try this.
Is this pony shampoo? Yep! Hi! Um, I need to see Pin.
Pin? Peter.
Your boss.
The master is not accepting visitors.
He was most insistent, he's not feeling well.
And he really doesn't need any commotion.
"Commotion" meaning what, exactly? Meaning that you, young lady, are the very definition of commotion.
So, he really doesn't want to see me? No.
I'm sorry.
Can you at least try and give him this? Tell him it's from the same tree as the one that helped the sick wild horse.
He'll understand.
And maybe maybe it'll help him too.
And here we are, sir.
Water, fresh from the castle spring.
Who was at the door, Arthur? The door, sir? I swear I heard voices.
There were no voices, sir.
Must've been a bad dream.
Drink up, sir.
All of it.
This is Becky and Bob, we're on a top secret mission right now, so leave a message.
Hey, Pony Squad.
It's me.
Just checking in.
I guess you guys are busy.
Anyway, just, um, call me when you get this.
Okay, bye.
Zoe! Are they following us or something? Hey.
Can you save me from the clutches of arrogance? Zoe! Hi! Ooh, I hope this isn't too hard for you, you know, seeing Holloway beat you, - again.
- Cut it out, Callum.
How's the stables today? How's Scout? Ted moved him near to Raven.
He's feeding and stuff, but he just looks so confused.
Oh, please, he's a foal, not a baby.
You know, they're much more independent than us.
Ariel was taken and he didn't get to say goodbye.
Yeah, he needs his mother.
And I can relate.
Everything okay? I just need to talk to you about something and Come on, people! Let's get this thing moving.
Look, I have to stay till the end, so can we catch up later? Yeah, maybe.
Hey! What happened to teaching everybody "The Callum"? How much longer is this gonna take? She looks like she's enjoying herself.
You know, grooming is a good way for you to bond with your horse.
This stuff is amazing.
We've nearly used the whole bottle! Susie, think! Where would you put it? You know today's important for me, I need to look perfect.
Hey, I think you look fine as you are.
Stay out of it, Marcus.
My hair's a mess and Susie has lost my expensive shampoo.
I'm sure I left it in the office.
Winnie? Where did you get this shampoo from? A box in there.
The one that says "Mia" on it.
Oh, shampoop! Pin's ancestors are seriously creepy.
Someone's coming! Shh! So you're writing Zoe a letter? My old teacher said we should write down our feelings, but it's not working.
It never works.
What's this? Hey, Mom, watch this! My mom's gonna love this.
It's so British! I made a video for my mom.
I thought if she saw all the good things I've been doing, she'd let me stay.
But that didn't work either.
We're looking for a way to get our message through to Zoe.
Maybe we should try Morse code.
We don't need Morse code.
The answer is right here on your computer.
One to Frank.
I know you don't want to leave, but I promise you'll love America.
There's a barn a few miles away from my house.
We can trek across the desert, and maybe Rosie will come.
And we can just spend every day with my family.
You can meet my dog, Baxter.
We can start over, just like my mom did.
I know it didn't work out so well for her, but she didn't have you.
Leaving is what's best for us.
I promise.
Come on, let's go pack up.
Pin? He's not here.
Wait a minute.
Pin! Jecky, what are you doing here? Oh, my Bob! You just called us Jecky.
You've never called us that before.
You must be really sick.
Hold on, my throat's a little dry.
No! Becky! We think your butler's trying to poison you! What? Don't be stupid, guys.
Arthur's taking really good care of me, and no one else has been near That's not true! Zoe left this for you.
- Where did you get that? - In the bin outside.
Zoe's been trying to reach you, Arthur's been stopping her.
- Why'd he do that? - He's trying to poison you like he poisoned the wild herd! We need to get you out of here now! Before the creepy butler comes back! My name is Arthur.
Stay back! I should have you arrested for breaking and entering.
Well, I'll have you arrested right back for horse poisoning and duke poisoning! Why are you laughing? Poisoning's not funny, it's the opposite of funny.
I'm sorry, it's just that that isn't a sword it's a sheath.
I knew that.
You've been lying to me.
Why didn't you tell me that Zoe was here? I was trying to protect you, sir.
I don't need protecting from my girlfriend.
No, perhaps I did get that wrong.
It's just that everything has seemed so - confusing - Whoa, whoa.
Guys he's sick, just like Pin.
You poisoned yourself? That is seriously evil.
It's time for the truth.
That's an order.
Yes, sir.
How many times, Susie? Paint the nail, not the finger.
Sorry.
Mia, my three o'clock just canceled if you want another riding lesson.
No can do, Marcus, I'm busy.
As I'm sure you're aware, a perfect manicure is de rigueur for any pony princess.
Oh.
Right.
Cool.
- Okay, spill.
- Well, you've already done that.
Why are you being so mean? I heard Marcus talking about me yesterday.
He called me a princess.
- Marcus said that? - Yeah.
So I thought I might as well act like one.
No, Marcus, I told you! We found this.
Looked expensive, so we guessed it was yours.
Oh, thank goodness! I seriously thought Susie had stolen it.
- Er - It looks like a really unique formula.
One of a kind.
Only the best for our yard princess.
- Can I use it? - It's an exclusive blend, Susie.
I'm not quite sure your hair's exclusive enough.
Come on, it's almost time for the big opening.
We'll shower here.
How did you make it pink? Food coloring, left over from Becky's Galentine's Day cupcakes.
Nifty! Ever since the old duke died, I've taken on all the roles in the castle.
Butler, cook, cleaner.
Even warden of the wild ponies, but I'm afraid I've failed at that.
Why do you have this creepy skull in your room? I found that skull in the lake.
Another horse that I couldn't protect.
The lake again That's it! We thought everything pointed to the castle, but everything points to the lake.
Pony Squad badges.
Pin's radio.
Marcus mask! And you say I sneak around! Come with me, Granddaughter number one.
Aaron has a surprise for you.
Ta-da! What's going on? Sit down, watch this.
Howdy, kids.
Lemme tell you a story about the coolest cowgirl in the West.
And how life woulda been if she'd never ridden into town.
Without that gal, this wild beast would have destroyed us all.
This outlaw would have never found a home.
And this cowboy would have never found a friend.
This ol' town is a better place because of Zoe Phillips.
She brought us all together.
And stopped us falling apart.
Zoe, Raven, you are wanted.
And this town is big enough for the both of you.
Thank you for everything you've done for me.
Oh, stop.
This might not have been the perfect summer, but who needs perfect when you're having a fun time? Bright Fields needs you.
You have to stay.
I didn't work this hard getting back on top for you to leave and miss my moment of triumph.
What do you say? I just I just Can I Can I have a minute? You tried, kid.
You coming? Aaron was right.
Perfection's overrated.
Callum! Bright, talented, driven.
These are the qualities of the young man you see standing here before you, and those are the things that earned him his place Can you at least look like you're living your best horse life? A shining example to all.
Callum truly represents everything that is good about our island, and soon he'll be doing the same for his country.
- Dude, seriously, what's going on? - Nothing, just drop it.
A wonderful sportsman through and through.
Callum cares as much about his horses as he does his island.
Just do what reserves do.
Fill in for me, okay? Where are you going? Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Callum! Callum? And look, our humble hero has left his own victory parade to go and train some more.
And so in his place, please enjoy this demo from Gaby Grant.
Good.
Great.
Grandpa, tell me you did not buy that plane ticket yet.
Of course I didn't.
What's going on? No time to explain.
Looks like your message got through.
Yee-haw! The castle's water supply comes from here.
And this lake was formed from an ancient spring.
That's where the tire tracks end.
This is where I went in after Mia's keys.
And I think that's where I found the skull.
- I'm going in.
- No! - We don't know what's in there yet.
- No, take this.
I'll go in.
Come on, lake.
What are you hiding? Gaby Grant, showing us how she so nearly made the under-18s team! Gaby! Where's Callum? Um, he took off.
He's been acting weird all day.
Look at this.
His hair's wet.
He must have set off Aaron's trap.
He was there moments before Ariel got out.
He was asking so many questions that day.
What's she like round people, how is she with the rope.
He was late to tryouts the day the ponies went missing.
I thought he was just being Callum, but What if he had something to do with it? Let's go.
Where is she going? Gaby! Oh, not again.
Am I really that bad? You've lost me.
I know I can be bratty and self-involved but I've been trying, I've been really trying to be a better person.
What are you talking about? I heard you yesterday talking to Ted.
Apparently I'm some pony princess.
Mia, I wasn't talking about you.
Sure, then who? Princess, stop eating all the hay.
Oh.
Ted and I met her from the ferry.
She's a sweet horse.
And why do you care if I think you're a princess anyway? I don't.
Obviously.
What happened to the epic makeover? Well, someone said I'm fine as I am.
Someone was right.
Did you hear that? She's not even going to use the shampoo.
Another lucky escape for Breakfast Club.
Guys, my hair feels really weird.
Man, I'm gonna miss you guys.
Breakfast Club for life.
Oh, wait, there's something It's really heavy.
I don't think I can lift it, sir.
Bob, this is your moment.
There's plenty more out here.
There's pipes and lots of metal.
Catch! I've got it! Attach it to Bob.
It's on.
Come on, pull, Bob! Good job, Bob.
And Pin.
Good Bin.
That's not bin it's a boiler.
Whoever's dumping this stuff has poisoned the lake.
That's why the wild herd have been changing their grazing habits.
They've been looking for clean drinking water.
I went in the lake after Firefly bolted with Mia.
The lines on the moor are where the castle's water pipes run.
The lead in the pipes killed the grass.
And I've been giving the master water from the castle's supply.
And drinking it yourself.
Oh! We need a doctor.
Right away.
- It's lead poisoning.
- Are they gonna be okay? We got to Pin and Arthur in time, but if the herd have been poisoned, they might not be so lucky.
- You mean - If we don't find them soon the wild horses could die.
Where did he go? Look, hoof prints go that way.
It's towards the hotel.
Maybe we should split up.
You go in the front, I'll do the back? Ever seen a horror film? We're not splitting up.
He must be here somewhere.
- Okay, okay.
- He's doing that thing again.
Yeah, like when he first met Ariel, or when we were looking for her on the moors.
Ariel? Ariel! Hey! I thought I lost you.
They're really sick, Gaby.
We need to get them out of here.
- Callum? - You shouldn't have come here! Callum, wait! Let us out! What are you doing? Callum, these horses are sick! Let us out! Hey, boss.
We have a problem.
