We're live tonight outside the FBI's Atlanta field office, where sources tell us just a few short hours ago, two armed suspects breached the buildings security, leading to a tense standoff behind these walls.
Although we've yet to receive any official account, witnesses claim that gunfire was in fact exchanged inside the FBI's offices.
Initial reports indicate that apart from the suspects, there appear to have been no casualties.
This couldn't come at a worse time for the Bureau, now approaching day 14 of the Sara Collins kidnapping investigation, where it appears that the last several days have delivered few significant breaks in the case.
When contacted for comment, the FBI's press office denied that progress in the investigation has stalled, insisting that the Sara Collins case continues to be the Bureau's "top priority," and that investigators continue to cooperate with federal and local law-enforcement on all levels, to pursue each and every available lead.

We're live tonight outside the FBI's Atlanta field office, where sources tell us just a few short hours ago, two armed suspects breached the buildings security, leading to a tense standoff behind these walls.
Although we've yet to receive any official account, witnesses claim that gunfire was in fact exchanged inside the FBI's offices.
Initial reports indicate that apart from the suspects, there appear to have been no casualties.
This couldn't come at a worse time for the Bureau, now approaching day 14 of the Sara Collins kidnapping investigation, where it appears that the last several days have delivered few significant breaks in the case.
When contacted for comment, the FBI's press office denied that progress in the investigation has stalled, insisting that the Sara Collins case continues to be the Bureau's "top priority," and that investigators continue to cooperate with federal and local law-enforcement on all levels, to pursue each and every available lead.
The FBI also asks that anyone with information pertinent to the case, please call the tip line.
Now, Senator Jeffrey Collins, in the meantime, has kept a low profile since making his public statement yesterday, in support of Judge Wallace Rainer's nomination for Supreme Court justice.
