Billy The Kid (2022) s03e01 Episode Script

The Beginning of the End

1
[NARRATOR] Previously
on Billy The Kid
There's no hiding the fact
that we are now effectively at war
with Mr. Murphy and the House.
We know that the House is losing money
and we know the English man, Tunstall,
is coming to sum up the markets.
But I need to know, who
the hell is Billy the Kid?
How can I get to him?
[JESSE] Tracked down Tunstall himself.
We told him to surrender.
[BILLY] I swear on my mother's grave,
I will kill every man
involved in your murder.
[SHAKILY] There will
be a lot of bloodshed.
Then let there be bloodshed.
We go after Billy.
That's all. That's what this is about.
[TUNSTALL] Jesse Evans
is a real danger to us.
[BILLY] Came to ask you if
you'd stopped working for Murphy.
He's crooked as the devil, Jesse.
[WALZ] Mr. Catron has just appointed
a new sheriff in Lincoln County.
A sheriff who's pledged to
drive each and every gunman
in our borough out of this territory.
My name's Garrett. Pat Garrett.
Sheriff.
[MURPHY] All I want, Sheriff Garrett,
is nothing more than see
that Billy the fucking Kid
hanging on the end of a rope.
[DULCINEA] I don't
want you to die, Billy.
I want us to be
together for a long time.
That is all I've wanted since
the first moment I saw you.
[THUNDER ROARING]
They killed everyone, Billy.
[GUNSHOTS]
- My whole family.
- [BILLY] I know.

the most wanted man in all of America.
I'm sorry, kid.
