Crazy!
Life was good
on Hot Dog stand ♪
For two bugs
with food demands ♪
Had our last meal
one sunny day ♪
They got caught
up and swept away ♪
Into Kitchen's
where they landed ♪
We're so hungry ♪
And we're stranded ♪
Finding food is
quite a mission ♪
Other bugs are competition ♪
Now, just one question ♪
How do we find our
way back home? ♪
- He he, is that a glob of
cheese gunk and bacon fat?
- uh uh. It's a glob of
bacon fat and cheese gunk.
I've been saving it.
- You save food?
- For a special occasion.
- It's an occasion?
- It's the occasion on
which Erky and Perky
eat a glob of bacon
fat and cheese gunk.
- Aha!
- These are--
- Cheese gunk globbed in bacon.
- My food!
- As bugs here clearly
can't be trusted
just to hand over all
the food they find,
I've decided to impose
a new rule on you all.
(gasp)
- This evening and
every evening on,
everyone in Kitchen must
assemble on window sill
and present Margaret
with two crumbs.
- And edible crumbs!
Not bits of paper
like last time!
(sigh)
- Oh no!
How are we gonna come up
with all those crumbs?
- Don't be scared!
Erky's prepared!
- You save crumbs too?
- Now all I have to do
is choose the four
most expendable crumbs.
- What about this one?
- Don't even think about
giving that one away!
That's a saton bleu! ???
I need more light.
How'd you do that?
- Umm, I didn't.
Wh, wh, what do you think it is?
- I think it's a headache
waiting to happen.
- Speaking of headaches,
Mad Margaret will
be here any moment!
(bugs conversing)
- Our crumbs seem
particularly small
compared to all the other bugs.
- I'm brilliant aren't I?
It's hard to believe just
how little we're giving away!
Maybe too little.
- What?! No you don't!
(gasp)
We're handbags for sure!
- Goodbye good buddy.
- Oh good! We're not late!
- Something's going on here!
And I'm not gonna stand for it!
- Have I missed anything?
Oh one of those eh?
I've seen 'em before.
Somehow they repel
all flying bugs.
- Repels all flying bugs?
So this
is a safe zone!
- So Mad Margaret can't get in?
- We can keep and eat
our food in peace,
and there's nothing
you can do about it!
- Nah nah nah nah nah!
(laughing)
- (mocking) Cecil! Cecil!
I'll turn you into a humbug!
(laughing)
Every crumb in Kitchen is mine!
Oh come on, that's
my famous work!
- No
That's nothing like
Margaret, at all.
- I tell you it's not possible
to get any closer
to Mad Margaret.
- Oh yes it is!
- Ah!
Mad Margaret!
I was impersonating
the other Mad Margaret.
- Do you know what
I'm gonna do to you?
- Very little?
- I'm not going to make
you into a handbag.
- Well that's good 'cause
I don't accessorize well.
- I'm gonna make you
into a sleeping bag!
I'm gonna flatten you
and roll you up and--
Woah!
(loud thud)
- I Erky, hereby declare this
a de-Margaretized zone.
A place where bugs
can eat their food
without being bothered
for as long as they like!
(cheering)
(munching)
- Hmm, so now what do we eat?
- Boof find food.
- What?! No!
You can't eat that!
That's my egg nest nest egg.
Come on stop it.
Stop it.
Stop giving that away!
That's mine!
- Oh there has to be a way in!
- This looks like a gap!
- You're not going in
until you hand over that food!
- Will they make
it past her Erky?
- Watch this Perky!
- Oh now that's a long throw
and it makes the safe zone!
(cheering)
- This is the life.
- How in herb garden is
a bug supposed to sleep?
- Hey uh Erky,
you're looking kinda green.
- Ah!
- In fact, everybody's
looking kinda green.
Including me!
- That's normal
with these things.
For some bugs the side
effects are much worst.
- Well I'd rather be yellow,
but it is a small price to pay
to be free of Mad
Margaret's bullying.
- Absolutely!
Besides, how much worst could
the other side effects be?
- How am I supposed to get
around with no friction?
- Well, like this.
(laughing)
- This seems to be missing
the gravity of the situation.
- Sorry Erky.
I should just be grateful
my side effects stopped
at being green. (hiccup)
(sneezing)
- Margaret! Margaret!
I have figured it out!
The repellent field only
affects winged bugs!
- Really?
Then get in there
and turn it off!
- Gallant Cecil saves the day!
(spy music)
I thought that thing
repelled flying bugs.
- I'm not flying
I'm hovering.
- Uh oh!
- Perky, I'm starting to feel
that the de-Margaretizer may
not be a long-term solution.
- Okay, I'm sure it
feels weaker here.
Cecil, assume the position.
- Ahhh!
Help me!
Margaret, you'll
have to negotiate.
- Margaret?
- Erky?
- I think it's time
for negotiation.
- That's the most sensible
thing you've ever said.
- Okay everyone listen up.
Margaret and I have
been negotiating
over our, um, current situation.
She has agreed that if we turn
off the flying bug zapper,
then all bugs in
Kitchen will be allowed
to keep and eat food
in their own homes.
(cheering)
Boof.
- But outside your homes,
it's still every
bug for themself!
- Yes, uh.
- And good luck!
- You know, it's been a
traumatic day for all of us.
Join us.
Sit down.
Take the weight off your feet.
(screaming)
You know Perky,
hovering is really
quite relaxing when
you think about it.
- Hmm, none of
that nasty friction
on your feet and
posterior. (hiccup)
(laughing and sneezing)
(lively music)
