We used to be, like, really close friends, and now I'm throwing drinks at you and you're talking to people about me.
You're delusional.
You think that I actually care, and talking about you, and I'm not.
Don't call me delusional.
I'm not going to continue talking to you.
Nice-- All right.
you, too.
Tinsley and I used to text all the time.
We would e-mail.
Then suddenly she disappeared and I don't know why.
I need the dirt on Tinsley.
She turned her back on me.
I don't let people use me.
All the right friends in all the wrong places It is a rat race in the New York social world.
I'm standing up for my friend! It's about society, power, fame, influence Oh, yeah, we're going down everybody wants to be on top.
You're a mean girl.
If you don't have a tough skin, you are not going to make it.
All the right friends in all the wrong places So, yeah, we're going down I'm about to take you into a world where not everything is as perfect as it seems.
Hey Yeah, we're going down One thing about New York is the social calendar never stops.
No matter what's going on in your world, that world moves on with or without you.
My mom has just been acting insane.
Casi ran off back to London and I haven't heard fr him after he was being chased around by her.
But tonight is a major event at the opening of the New York City Opera.
Like a lion! Going out is the last thing on my mind, but sometimes getting all dressed up is the perfect escape.
There's this popular misconception that I'm this drunken crazy party boy which, yeah, you know, that's a part of who I am.
But I would say that I am smarter than most people.
I've been a stylist for a number of years now, and I've been very successful.
I've worked at "Vogue", I've worked at "Details", I've worked at "Paper".
I've worked at really good magazines.
But I've sort of put that on the back burner for a little bit just because my life has been really crazy.
And so I've come up with a plan which I think will put me back on the map.
I've gathered up the chutzpah to call Tinsley.
- Hello? - Hi, Tinsley, it's Paul.
- Hey! - How are you, babe? I'm okay.
- Okay.
I have a question.
- Yeah? I'm wondering if you would want me to style you for the New York Opera opening night.
Oh, um Oh, sure! Really? Okay.
Oh, my God.
Awesome.
Can you tell me yourizes and stuff like that? Or colors that you want? All right, color.
Good.
Awesome.
Well, this means so much to me.
It's a rlly important opportunity for me, 'cause I know it's a really big event.
- Okay, cool.
- Bye, darling.
If the next day, my name is printed as "Tinsley Mortimer wearing" whoever I put her in "styled by Paul Johnson Calderon", that will be enormous for me.
Perfect.
My daughter Tinsley is dating a German prince.
I've been reading this book about Casimir's family.
I'd like to really know what these royal families were doing in Germany during the Nazi regime.
Were they a part of it? Were they not? I need to know that.
So today, I decided I'm going to see a genealogist and I'm going to get my answers.
I'm going to find out.
As I was trying to get dresses for Tinsley, I got a text from "Guest of a Guest" saying, "We heard you vandalized some girl's apartment.
Do you want to comment?" Last night, I ran into my friend Cleo, and Cleo is Jules Kirby's best friend.
As we were going down the hallway, she has these hideous wall sconces.
And I just started ripping them down.
Jules Kirby and this girl Cleo totally leaked the story to "Guest of a Guest".
"Guest of a Guest" is a social website.
They focus on socialites and people in the scene.
It completely trashes everybody.
What's going on? What's the situation? Well, I mean, I'm just going to let you know that here's my quote: "I'm dealing with it.
" And that that's my only comment.
Yeah.
you.
Tonight I'm going to an Opera gala.
So, I arranged a private fitting with Maggie Norris.
Hi, Maggie.
Hey, how are you? Good to see you.
She is amazing.
From Nicole Kidman to Naomi Watts and Michelle Obama, everybody who's anybody wears her.
Maggie, this is Eric.
- Hi, nice to meet you.
- Nice to meet you.
I have to wear something spectacular tonight.
Only a few privileged people get to actually shut down a showroom.
When you're going to a ball, it's necessary.
- Especially with your hair.
- I would love to try that on.
Oh, absolutely.
Couldn't wait to have some fun See, these are Ds, this is 20, and this is 34.
So it's, like, impossible to find clothes.
How much does this retail for? The corset is about $25,000.
And the skirt is $12,000.
By the way, is Tinsley going to be there tonight? I'm not quite sure.
I haven't seen Tinsley in public for five months.
Tinsley was a fixture in my life, and then suddenly she disappeared.
It was like as if she had evaporated, and when you're genuinely friends with someone, you don't fall off the face of the earth.
Did you guys have a falling out? I haven't talked to her in a while.
I don't know what's going on.
I helped build Tinsley Mortimer into who she is today.
I put her on the cover of my magazine.
I completely restyled her hair, and she turned her back on me when she forget everything I had done for her.
Tonight at the Opera, I'm going to talk to Tinsley and finally find out why she's been ignoring me.
By the way, congratulations on Nicole Kidman wearing your dress on the cover of "Vanity Fair".
Oh, thank you.
- This is the same corset here.
- Oh, my goodness.
- Would you let me wear-- - Oh, sure! - Nicole Kidman's corset? - Absolutely.
Look how beautiful.
Oh, my God.
Wow.
Hi, Tom.
I'm Dale.
You are so sweet to meet me on such short notice.
I'm just nervous as I can be because, first of all, I'm embarrassed.
I have never done something like this before.
I don't check up on people's backgrounds.
Tom, this is the book I've been reading which just terrified me.
Well, I think we have some answers for you.
I've done some research on this.
Thank you.
- And I know who Heinrich is, who is the grand-uncle of your daughter's friend.
- So they are related? - They are related.
Tom, I need the truth.
Is my daughter dating someone who comes from a Nazi background? This grand-uncle, he joined the Luftwaffe, the air force, but he was never a member of the Nazi party.
So one could fight for their country, not be a member of the party? That's correct.
He was fighting for his country.
I feel so much better.
- Thank you so much.
- You're welcome.
So my suspicions about Casimir are yes, he may be a prince, but there are no jewels, there are no crowns, there's not a lot of land.
But at least he's not a Nazi.
I read about you today.
What did you read? Tinsley was really rude.
I don't know who she thinks she is.
Was it really bad? All right, love you.
Bye.
"Guest of a Guest" is up.
"Exclusive, Paul Johnson Calderon can't catch a break "with those security cameras.
"Gets caught vandalizing Cleo Vauban's apartment.
"We called Paul for a comment "and he simply stated, 'I'm dealing with it.
"It was a crazy night out with friends.
'" Whatever.
It's not that bad.
It's a weird mixture of kind of being embarrassed that yet another social scandal is out there about me and it's going to be on "Page Six", it's already on the Internet.
Jules and Cleo leaked the story.
These two girls, they want press, and they'll take negative press, and they don't care who they affect.
But a part of me is, like, "You know what, who gives a ?" I called, and I want to do some pulls for Tinsley Mortimer.
She likes cutesy, and girly, but not-- - I know who Tinsley is.
- Okay, yeah.
Okay.
I think everybody knows who Tinsley is in New York.
So let me take you to the collection.
Thanks so much.
The first place we went was Jill Stuart.
The sales associate was kind of a be-yatch.
Do you dress anyone else? No, this is my first actual dress dressing of a person.
- So, this is a big deal.
- Yeah, this is a big deal for me.
So this one's really great.
We did this two ways, which is amazing.
16 New Messages.
It was a little annoying trying to get dresses for Tinsley and at the same time I was checking my e-mail and getting e-mails from "Page Six" and other websites trying to find out what the deal was.
After Jill Stuart, we went to LaForce and Stevens.
We looked at Elie Saab and Vena Cava.
How's your day been? Really, really stressful.
Yeah? I read about you today.
Oh.
What did you read? I just saw that piece on "Guest of a Guest".
Oh This is a really sexy piece.
The cut-outs are amazing on the side, you know.
Is she really busty? I don't think so.
I don't think she's, like, got nice-- I think they're, like, normal.
Not, like, enormous.
Got it.
So, like, what's her waist size? I have no idea.
- Got it.
- No idea.
This could be a piece, if you wanted to put it over a dress.
- Beautiful, but, yeah-- - It's beautiful.
Right before I left, I found this really cool Shanghai Tang jacket.
Like, it's not monkey hair, but it was something, some beautiful, like, hair, black hair.
What are you doing tonight? It's the opening night of the Opera.
Tonight, there's a huge event for the New York City Opera so I wanted to give Paul a chance and so I said that he could actually dress me for the Opera.
Hi, how are you? - I don't want to mess up your-- - Oh, it's okay.
I went in there pretty confident that I could convince her to put together the outfit that I had brought for her.
This is kind of what I thought of right away for an outfit that I'd love to see you in.
And The dress part is the part that's important.
Tinsley used to be beautiful, but this evening, I almost feel bad for her.
You're mean.
- Oh, really? You're a mean girl.
I wanted to give Paul a chance and so I said the he could actually dress me for the Opera.
This is kind of what I thought of right away for an outfit that I'd love to see you in.
And the dress part is the part that's important.
This type of fur to me, it looks like real hair.
So, this is like-- Wait, hold on one second.
Mm-hmm.
Okay, 'cause I really- I like color.
I know what you like.
I know.
Color.
- I like color, and I like girly.
Mm-hmm.
I was a little confused, because I had told him I wanted major, I wanted long, I wanted color, and everything was short and gray and black and just very not me.
This just, to me, looks kind of Really, I don't know, kind of dowdy? I'm sorry.
I didn't want to make Paul feel badly and I didn't know what to do because I knew I couldn't wear anything that he had brought.
I'm just going to call someone quickly just to bring something, if that's okay.
No, that's fine.
You know, recently, I started working with a stylist, P.
J.
, and had to urgently, frantically text P.
J.
and say, "Oh, my God, could you please bring me something immediately?" - Hi, sweetheart.
- How are you? Oh, my God.
That's really pretty.
Oh, these go amazingly.
And you love to stack jewelry.
Yes, okay.
Imagine these pink things.
That's just perfect.
- Beyond your imagination.
- Thank you, this is perfect.
When he brought in that dress, and she loved it, and it was perfect, and he brought the jewelry and everything, like, I was there swallowing the tears.
- Bye! - Bye.
She's going to look amazing, so that's all that really matters.
I'm a little bummed though, that, you know, it couldn't have been me that brought the dresses.
Cleo and I decide to go downtown just to toy with boys.
Are there any hot guys upstairs? A lot of them? You like men? Thanks.
If I don't find anyone in there, I'll come back for you.
- You're a Leo? - I'm a Leo.
Cheers.
I like guys who are smart and who are well traveled.
That's really important.
Cleo likes those rocker type guys with, like, tattoos and who are grimy.
She's pretty much like the sugar mommy to lots of guys.
I don't like being told what to do.
If people don't like the way that I am, that's just how it is.
I'm not going to change.
You're mean.
Oh, really? - You're a mean girl.
- And you're nice.
Hey! My man, my main man! You're our ride.
Where are you from? At the end of the day, I was really stressed out from trying to fend off the press.
So I did the adult thing.
I called my mother.
Good.
I wanted to have a lile talk with you.
I've had kind of a really stressful day.
I went out with my friends the other night, and we were getting a little crazy, and we sort of broke some sconces in our other friend's building.
I think we all have to pay $1, 000 or $2,000 or something.
Anyway, I was wondering if you could again wire me a little bit of cash back into my account.
Well, um-- I had her wire me $2,000.
I wrote a check and I dealt with it.
Thk you, Mother.
- Okay? - All right.
I don't feel sorry.
I don't feel badly.
I just want it to be over.
love getting my hair done.
I just want to do something like a little flat, a little straight, maybe a little more serious.
I'm trying to tone down the sexiness.
I know! Oh, my God, oh, my God! My date! This guy is so cute.
It's like, if there was an upper eastside Ken doll, it would be him.
And, you know Dominico Vacca? He's the heir to Dominico Vacca.
His father's Dominico Vacca.
If you guys think I should go for him, say, "That suit is amazing.
" All right, gorgeous.
You're all set.
- Hey, darling.
- Hi! How are you? How is everyone? That's an amazing suit.
Where'd you get it? Oh, nice! I'm about to change.
It's like this really light beige corset dress and it's long.
Wow.
You look-- I have to see this.
- Do you like it? - It's amazing.
You look beautiful.
I'm speechless.
Sorry.
Are you ready? I'm ready to rumble.
Let's go.
Tinsley snubbed me several times.
And I'm hurt and I'm angry.
I'm not going to let her treat me like that.
The opening of the New York City Opera at Lincoln Center is one of the biggest events of the year.
There's a big red carpet, everybody's in black tie and gorgeous gowns and it really kicks off the whole season.
I'm so excited because I'm wearing an amazing, beautiful light-pink Marchesa dress with Brian Atwood shoes and I have some light pink Kara Ross jewelry.
It was fun for me to get dressed up to go to the Opera this way because I haven't been going out a lot and it was just nice to be in a big dress, with guys in black tie and just feeling special.
Tonight is one of those fairy tale New York nights.
It's a gorgeous gala.
Everyone's here.
Hi! Good to see you.
Hello, Devorah.
Do you know Victoria Wyman? Hi, Devorah Rose.
Lovely to meet you.
The paparazzi line was full of all the right photographers.
My date was absolutely stunning.
And it was really nice to see all my friends as well as my fashion icon, Carolina Herrera.
Hey, Tinsley, one right here? I am going through what is definitely a very horrible divorce.
And when I go out right now, I feel like people are still looking at me in a different way.
Hi! How are you? Good to see you! Some people are really sensitive to it and don't really know what to say to me, and others will come right up and say, "Oh my, God, but I loved you and Topper together.
" I get worried that maybe some people would treat me differently after this whole thing, after Topper and I breaking up.
I just moved to a new place.
Yeah.
And it's hard.
Yeah.
I spoke to Carolina Herrera, and she was just so lovely, and so sweet.
Hi! Hi, how are you? Hi, nice to see you.
Hi, baby.
Hi.
It's been a very, very long time.
I know.
That was awkward.
She didn't even stop to talk.
I was saying something to her, and she snubbed me and she felt like she could just walk on by.
Oh, myoodness.
We used to be really close friends.
She didn't even ask me how I was, or-- She snubbed me, like, four or five times.
I think Tinsley Mortimer can give me the time of day.
And I don't care how miserable she is, she shouldn't treat me the way she treated me tonight.
Tinsley isn't a queen bee.
She's about as royal as Burger King.
Tinsley's 15 minutes are up.
If Tinsley's like were an opera, the fat lady would be singing.
It's over.
Next time on " High Society" I feel like my life is spiraling out of control.
The war is on.
She's no longer my friend.
Do I want revenge? Yeah.
You gotta choose your daughter.
I was trying to save you, Tinsley.
Honestly, I don't know what the is going on right now.
I'm not going to be your arm candy because I'm a model.
I am Paul Johnson Calderon.
Where's there to climb when you're already at the top? I'm going to have to ask that you leave.
are you doing? I told you to stop.
