Ice Road Truckers (2007) s04e12 Episode Script

The Dalton Strikes Back

Tonight on Ice Road Truckers Hugh and ray race up the haul Road.
How bad is it, ray? Back off, I'm spinning out.
Greg faces a Mechanical meltdown.
I smell burning oil.
That definitely is never a good Sign.
It smells really hot.
And one of the Biggest loads of the season Could be more than jack can Handle.
Oh! Fubar! These are the Truckers who make their Living Yee-Haw! On thin ice.
Over halfway into The ice road season, the Pressure to rack up loads is Growing by the week, and drivers Are doing whatever it takes to Gain an edge.
Just outside fairbanks, hugh Rowland is headed north, early Enough to slide past the d.
O.
T.
Checkpoint.
We got going early this Morning.
I had to dodge the scale.
We had to leave before sun-Up.
I got the warden down there After my ass, and now I'm gonna Have to change my name from The polar bear to the ridge Runner, I guess.
Hitting the road Before the station opens isn't Against the law.
It's hugh's way of working the System to avoid an inspector Who has got it out for him.
Is that what that says, "Check"? Yeah, check load.
I can read them, barely, Um, so just kind of try to clean It up a little bit.
I'm not trying to teach you some English here, but make sure you Put "ak" in there.
We're in alaska.
Okay.
"Ak.
" Yep.
They bust my balls 'cause I'm Canadian.
If something's not quite right, It goes on my license so, uh, That's just a trucker's Nightmare, the scale house.
Yeah, they always look at me.
Especially art, 'cause I'm Canadian.
And I think the guy likes my Ass.
Veteran moves like This have the polar bear at the Top of the load count, tied with Ray.
This is five or six trips now That I've avoided the scales, So it's doing good, and I've Still got the horseshoe up my Ass, and that's what I plan on, To keep it there.
Fabanks at the hilltop truck Stop, heavy hauler carey hall Is preparing to move the next Mega-Load north to the oil Fields.
This is called a pig launcher Module.
It weighs about 57 tons.
Like, 14 feet wide, 17.
6 tall.
I brought it from anchorage, and I'm taking it to prudhoe bay.
The pig launcher Plays a critical role in the Maintenance and safety of the Pipeline.
It's used to shoot inspection Pods, commonly called pigs.
Using ultrasonic technology, They scan for cracks and clean Buildup in the pipes.
Moving this gigantic piece of Machinery to prudhoe bay will Take the power of two push Trucks, but one of carey's push Drivers is nowhere to be found.
I am supposed to be meeting Mr.
Jack jessee but, uh, He's not here yet.
We were supposed to be leaving At 9:00, and it's now 10:00, So we're gonna leave jack.
He's gonna have trouble catching Up, too.
On a deadline to Deliver this load, carey decides To tackle the first leg of the Trip without his lead push Truck.
He's hoping that jack will catch Up before he reaches the first Brutal hills of the dalton.
Back at the truck yard, the haul Road ace is running late.
He's prepping a Specially-Outfitted rig that's Own truck.
This whole truck is set up For literally hauling all kinds Of weight, period.
We've got a double frame on it, A 20,000-Pound front end, Two steering boxes, A 20,000-Pound lift axle, Probably, I think, A 56,000-Pound rear end.
This thing is just made tough.
Just not used to this truck in These kind of conditions.
I just gotta get used to this Thing really fast.
Got a lot of play in this Gear shifter, which isn't bad if You know and are used to it.
I gotta have a real quick Learning curve.
Driving an Unfamiliar truck will make a Tough job even tougher.
I just have to be one with The truck, have a zen moment, Ooh, and mesh.
So I think carey's already left.
It's gonna take him a while But, you know, he's gonna be There, putting on chains, and I Think I'm gonna have plenty of Time here but, you know, I've Gotta get there so that I'm not Slowing down the show when it Comes to starting on the dalton Highway.
Just up the road, Ray veilleux is headed to Prudhoe bay with his 13th load Of the season.
Despite some rookie mistakes, Ray has scrapped his way to the Top of the load count.
I think it's all how bad you Really want it.
I'm doing a good thing for my Family by making the money, so That's what I'm doing.
But as the weeks Turn into months on the road, It gets harder and harder to Be away from family.
It's hard to smile.
I mean, there's a lot of stuff Going on.
I'm away from my family.
I miss my family, you know, And I want to do good on the Haul road.
I want to be accepted as one of The guys, you know, and then, Here I miss a gear, I struggle With this piece of junk truck.
It's hard being happy.
They say, "put a smile on your Face.
Be happy.
" It's like, yeah, right.
Be happy.
That's my wife, that's my Daughter, and that's my son.
That's brittany, and that's Josh, and it really sucks That I'm away from my family.
As he rolls north, Hugh rowland appears in his Rear view mirror.
He knows I'm comin'.
He's seen me.
He's at the top of the hill, and I'm at the bottom.
Well, I see him in the Mirror.
Hugh I'm spinning out, hugh.
Back off.
I'm spinning out, hugh.
I was born at night, but not Last night.
You better pull over and Chain up.
The polar bear sees His chance to teach the rookie a Lesson.
Oh, check this out.
He's gonna try to pull a little Sandbagging over here, by god.
Man, I know I weigh 10,000 Pounds more than you.
Yeah, maybe two pounds.
You're heavier than me more Than two pounds.
What are you talking about? I'm passing ray.
Hey, you just hit my mirror.
Aw, you bastard.
I just sacked ray on the hill.
Getting sacked or Passed bruises any trucker's Ego.
That was a good move on Hugh's part.
Aw, man.
I'm going, though.
I'm gonna catch up.
The last one to coldfoot buys Lunch? Last one to coldfoot buys Lunch? Ray That was definitely a Canadian move there.
With ray on his Heels and a lunch in coldfoot on The line Yee-Haw! Hugh kicks it into High gear.
Back in fairbanks, greg Boadwine's having trouble Getting out of the truck yard.
His truck was supposed to spend The weekend in the shop.
But a pool of Leaking antifreeze tells greg That no one has looked at it Since Friday.
I had it scheduled for an Apm.
It's basic maintenance, Periodical.
It has to be done according to Mileage.
The shop hasn't touched the Truck.
The truck sat here for two and a Half days.
I'm pissed.
How goes it, boss? Morning.
How you doing? Had better days.
Better mondays, even.
What's the matter? Oh, I've got an antifreeze Leak that sprung up over the Weekend.
I don't know how it springs up When it sits there.
The truck sat beside the shop Over the weekend.
They didn't get it in at all.
Okay, so have you talked to Them about getting the truck in? I figured it was a better Thing for me to walk away for Now.
Got it.
I would have said bad things, So I didn't say anything.
All right, I'll give the shop A call and get your truck in Right away, let them know it's The, uh, first priority so we Can get you on the road and get You moving.
I do appreciate it.
All right, greg.
Thanks, tim.
Have a good one.
You too.
If it were up to me, right now I'd probably go in there and Start yelling and probably smack Somebody, but I can't do that.
It's another costly Delay for greg, and with only Six loads delivered this season, He's already at the bottom of The pack.
Mega-Haul pulls over to prepare For the first hills of the Dalton.
We're gonna throw the chains On for the big hills.
Hopefully, jack will catch up Before that.
The ice road ace is Well known for keeping his Fellow truckers waiting.
Damn it! I've been late for king james There for three hours already This morning.
Oh, it's taken him two hours To get ready, to eat breakfast And primp and preen, and it Took me an hour and a half to Take a shower and do my hair.
As carey's team Chains up, pilot car driver leah Thiele notices a problem.
Carey, I've got a flat drive Tire.
What? I've got a flat drive tire.
It's all the way flat? All the way flat.
With one of the Push trucks down with a flat And the second one nowhere to be Seen, carey's monster load won't Be going anywhere soon.
Coming up Don't try this at home.
Carey throws Gasoline on the fire And the haul road ace goes down In flames.
Fairbanks, carey hall is stuck On the side of the road with a The alaskan pipeline, and one of His push trucks has a flat.
Pull.
Usually when these tires come Loose, like this one, the bead Here, it takes a lot of pressure To make the tire slip back Around the inner rim on the Bead.
You need something in there to Make it expand.
Okay, now, you've got some gas In your tank back there? I need just a little bit.
To solve the Problem, carey has an old Trucker trick up his sleeve.
A little bit of gasoline, And you just put it right on the Inside of the rim and just Ignite it, and it'll expand in The tire, right back on the Bead.
The danger of doing this is Putting too much of whatever You're using on there, and I've Seen people actually blow tires Up like this, so you only want To use a small amount, just Enough to do what you need to do To get it sealed up.
Okay.
Whoo! Igniting gasoline Heats the air inside the tire, Causing it to expand and push The tire back into position on The rim.
Roadside truckers' secret.
Don't try this at home, please.
With the tire Sealed firmly to the rim, They can patch the hole, but Hauling a load this heavy, There's no guarantee that the Quick fix will hold.
Just as carey is About to hit the road What's the deal? Why are you late? I was waiting on a permit.
What's this one? A pig launcher module.
A pig launcher? What does it weigh? In the early 20th Century, hundreds of miles of Oil pipelines were built across America, and workers soon Realized they needed a way to Clean the inside of the pipes.
The solution? Bundles of straw wrapped in Wire, soon referred to as pigs Because of the squealing sound They made as they pushed through The pipes.
The first smart pig was Developed in 1961.
Smart pigs use ultrasonic waves To detect cracks in a pipeline Without interrupting the flow of Oil.
Well, I'm glad you made it Here.
That I made it? I'm glad you made it.
Waited for you on the hilltop, Who was? We were.
Well, you guys probably were.
You made it here just fine, Obviously, without me.
See, you don't need me.
But I'll tell you what, I'll Start working when we get to the Big hills.
Hang on one second.
I've got to light a fire Under your ass.
Come here.
No, we don't need no flaming Going.
It's liable to take off.
When it comes to push Truckers, jack is one of the Best ones in the business, but Sometimes I've got to light a Fire under his ass to get him Out of bed in the morning.
I'm ready to get back on the Road and get trucking again.
It's time to get something done For the day.
Let's go.
So it just felt like I Thought, I'd catch up to him About live and good, right Before they really needed me.
Back at the Carlile yard, lisa's been Given her next load.
I got pipe.
Isn't that great? So looks like good weather and Stuff, so hopefully it'll just Be, like, up and back.
Another load.
A strong season has Kept her in the race for the Load count crown.
This load looks familiar, Huh? I bet I know how it rides and How heavy it is.
Doesn't mean I'll let my guard Down though, right? But just like ray, Weeks away from home are Beginning to take their toll.
It's hard being away.
I miss my animals a lot, Because I don't get to see them At all during this time away.
Back home in Wasilla, lisa left behind A jouse full of pets.
I'd let my cats come with me If the company would let me, But then we'd have to smell Stinky all day.
Every time the cat goes in the Bathroom.
And the horse, well, he's The bad child.
Let's go in, let's go in.
I'm trying to teach him house Manners, which is not easy.
His problem right now is biting, And he's just mean.
And while she Misses her animals when she's Away, it's also a big reason She's on the road.
A few years ago, lisa was forced To sell her first horse, sky.
Ever since, she's been on A mission to buy her back.
Once I get my bills paid, I want to start saving to get My horse back.
Sky's my horse.
She's my tennessee walker.
Through a series of Circumstances, she wn't mine Anymore, but she was sold back To the lady I originally bought Her from, so that lady is Saving her for me.
Got to make money to buy her.
So I'm, like, really focused On that this year.
She's my goal.
She's a good motivation, 'cause I want her, I want her really Bad, and I'm gonna do what it Takes to get her back.
Dalton, alex debogorski is Hauling 50,000 pounds of pipe.
He's hoping a quick run today Will help him to recapture The lead he had on his rival, Hugh.
Well, I understand ray's in The lead as far as load count, And I'm very happy for him.
I hope he gets more loads.
Yeah, I'm not really particular About beating ray.
My only concern is to beat hugh.
Soand I'm probably nip and Tuck with him, and I'm hoping That, you know, I may get A couple more backhauls and be Able to beat him.
Alex gets word Of a d.
O.
T.
Patrol up ahead.
She may say something about The headlight or may not.
He's hoping they Won't notice a broken headlight He hasn't repaired.
Very good, thank you.
What a bunch of baloney.
Alex has run into The only heat on the ice road, A roadside inspector who's Conducting random spot checks.
I wonder if I could see A copy of your most recent Inspection.
Back at carlile, The maintenance is done, And greg is finally ready to get Back on the road.
Hi, boss.
Greg, how we doing? Not too bad.
Yourself? Good.
Uh, load of pipe.
Fun.
All right, we'll take a look.
Okay, let me know.
Will do, thanks.
Fun, fun, fun.
Another flatbed full of pipe.
After a couple of Weeks hauling more challenging Loads, greg is back on pipe Detail.
God, I'm tired of pipe.
But running dead Last in the load count, greg Needs every haul he can get.
Now let's see what we can do About making a living again.
Let's go trucking.
Greg rolls his just-Repaired rig Into the first hills of the Dalton.
This is the first good steep Grade that's got a lot of length To it.
That's really gonna test the Motor, the truck, and myself Out.
Suddenly Uh-Oh.
A sickening smell Of something burning tells greg His problems aren't over.
I smell burnin' oil.
That definitely is never a good Sign.
I might be bleedin' oil Everywhere.
[Bleep.]
son of a [bleep.]
.
Dalton, ray's found a way to Keep his mind off his family Back home.
He's racing hugh to coldfoot.
I'm coming for the polar Bear.
I heard they took the polar Bears off the endangered species Act, and I'm coming to bag one.
The load count lead And lunch are on the line.
Now I can order a steak Instead of a cheeseburger, Because those montanans, They got a lot of money.
Whoo! Here we go.
Hugh is up ahead now.
He's just laughing over There.
I'm trying to catch up.
I'm cutting the insides of the Corners.
Whatever I can get.
Hoping to overtake Hugh, ray picks up speed and Crosses into the southbound Lane.
Uh-Oh.
Damn.
I'm spun-Out.
That's [bleep.]
priceless.
Oh, you bastard.
Now I'm spun-out.
I'm gonna chain up right here.
That's the funniest [bleep.]
Thing I ever did.
For the second time Today, the polar bear gets the Best of the rookie.
Damn canadian.
Damn it! Just outside Coldfoot Uh-Oh.
I'm spun-out.
Damn it.
Ray is stuck on the Wrong side of the road after Trying to pass hugh.
That's [bleep.]
priceless.
So I'm gonna chain up right Here.
Oh! Oh, he's just towing [bleep.]
Iron again.
Holy [bleep.]
.
Well, I tried getting around Him, and it's all slimy right Here, so I gotta hurry up and Chain up.
We're in the wrong lane.
What started as A friendly competition has left Ray in a dangerous spot.
He needs to chain up quickly Before anyone comes over the Hill.
So I gambled and lost.
All right, let's get off this Hill.
If it gets off.
It should get off.
Up ahead, hugh Warns the southbound traffic.
Hey, there's somebody Spun-Out down here.
Hey, ray, watch out.
We got a truck coming at you Here.
Uh-Oh.
Sometimes it just sits here and Spins, you know? Ray moves back into The northbound lane without A moment to spare.
Ray, she's clear.
It was a pretty ugly little Spot, so I took my chance, Lost.
This time, ray Dodged a bullet.
But word of his close call has Made it back to fairbanks, And carlile boss lane keator Is not happy.
We don't condone racing on The haul road.
It goes against every basic Principle of trucking up here.
There was no reason for ray to Think he could get back around Him on a hill, and he made A rookie mistake.
Coulda been a really bad deal.
Ten miles south Of coldfoot, alex is undergoing A surprise d.
O.
T.
Inspection.
Okay, can I see your log Book, please? If alex gets A citation, it will spoil his Perfect record this season.
Yes, ma'am.
Thank you very much.
She obviously never noticed The headlight because she didn't Say anything about it.
Alex escapes Without a fine, bvt he's not Taking any more chances.
I'll fix it when I get To coldfoot.
Eureka, there's your headlight.
With two working Headlights, alex is back in Business.
But any hope of catching hugh Today is gone.
Just 30 miles north of Fairbanks It smells really hot.
Still smell burning oil.
Greg's day has gone From bad to worse.
Now just a few hours into his Run, he's sidelined again.
So we're not burning oil.
Always a good sign.
Ugh.
Might be in the rim.
It's the wheel seal.
We lost the wheel seal.
The bearings inside A truck's wheels are sealed To keep lubricant in and water Out.
If the seal breaks, the bearings Wear out quickly.
Before long, the tire can seize Up, sending the entire truck Spinning out of control.
If that hub dries out, Seizes, I lose control of the Truck, and we're on our side.
Either the tire can completely Fall off or the whole hub can Lock.
As soon as it locks, it pulls Left, we're in the ditch And possibly dead.
It can't haul this heavy load Up there like this.
We're gonna have to go back and Get it fixed.
Dropping his load Will take the weight off his Overheated wheels.
We can try to make Half-Decent time back into Fairbanks, try and get there Before the shop shuts down Tonight.
And hopefully the guys can get Us taken care of right away.
So now we're really in a bit More of a crunch to get this Thing fixed and get back out On the road.
Already behind in The load count, it's greg's Worst-Case scenario.
Briefly what happened today, I got hosed.
It's that simple.
I got to drive 100 miles, Waste a lot of my time, For nothing.
North, jack and the mega-Haul Convoy are heading into their First big challenge.
Well, we're just getting Ready to drop in the roller Coaster.
Pushing the 57-Ton Load through the steep climb Of the roller coaster will take Careful coordination.
Our plan of action on this One is gonna be we're gonna Creep down to the bottom, Put it in a gear that we know Is gonna make it up the hill, And we're just gonna walk right Up the other side.
We're just getting down to the Bottom.
I gotta use second, over.
Okay, that's good.
Hook up, jack.
Hook up right here.
The trucks must Connect their bumpers and match Gears for the climb.
Jack needs to make every shift Count.
Fubar.
Dalton on the steep slopes of The roller coaster Jack jessee has Just missed a gear.
Fubar.
And he's pushing One of the heaviest loads of the Season.
Without the power of jack's push Truck, the 57-Ton load begins to Lose momentum.
Jack races to get back into Position before the monster load Comes crashing back down the Hill.
Okay, let's try this again.
Finally, he finds The gear and moves back into Place.
There you go.
Hook up, keep pushing.
We got lucky.
Long as nothing got broke And the load made it up the Hill, we can keep going.
Just south of Coldfoot, ray has survived his Spinout, but lost his bet with The polar bear.
Time to go face the music and Buy hugh some tater tots or Something.
Oh, yeah! Yeah, I just eat like a bird.
Can't you tell? Yeah.
Big bird.
Man, I bet you he can eat a Whole bag of tater tots.
Ray's got a good sense of Humor most of the time.
At least I get to laugh a Little bit today.
There ain't too many days I get To laugh.
Just always worried about Family or worried about my wife Or my daughter or something.
Hugh's up ahead now.
Speak of the devil.
There's ray right there.
I got him running scared.
Hey, I'm catching up.
But instead of Stopping to cash in on his free Meal, hugh blows past coldfoot.
Where you going? I'm going to prudhoe bay.
You're freaking cheating, Damn it.
Yeah, a little.
A man of his word, Ray settles his debt.
This goes to hugh.
He beat me on the way up here, So I owe him dinner.
So give him that.
After the close Call, ray decides to rest up Before tackling atigun pass.
It's been a long day and I'm Gonna get some sleep.
It's a smart Decision, since the horseplay With hugh isn't playing well Back in fairbanks.
He shouldn't have been Running with hugh.
Hugh's not the guy to learn From.
His mouth and his actions Outrun his abilities.
Renegades, they don't last at Carlile.
They don't last on the haul Road.
Back on the haul Road, lisa is losing daylight And she's well aware that Driving at night requires extra Caution.
Nighttime always carries its Own things.
Like, especially if you don't Know the road, you're gonna be Going slower in the nighttime Because you can't see what's Ahead.
But it's also go slower in the Nighttime for me because you Can't see what critters are Gonnaor what are hiding in the Ditch.
There's always a possibility of Something running across the Road for you.
And if it's something big like a Moose or even a porcupine.
You want to try to at least miss Porcupines.
They don't feel good running Over and I never have.
I just heard that they're a Reallyreally solid animal.
But if it's, like, a bunny You stillyou don't want to hit Bunnies and birds and stuff like That, but don't go off the road Trying to avoid it.
You know, the animal's this big And you're this big.
You're not even gonna feel it And it's not worth wrecking your Truck for or going off the road For.
But lisa knows That sometimes a run-In with the Local wildlife is unavoidable.
The one time that I hit the Moose was a real good reminder Of how heavy I was.
I mean, I already knew I was Heavy, but once she came up out Of the ditch and you've got Everything locked up trying to Stop for her It keeps pushing you forward.
I almost missed her too.
I almost missed her, but I Didn't want to, like, swerve Too hard and, like, just start Knocking everything over.
So I ended up just catching the Tail end of her with the corner Of my truck.
Tonight, lisa will Play it safe.
I'm gonna stay here in Coldfoot for the night.
It's pretty late and I just want To start fresh in the daytime.
Everything rode really well.
The road was in good condition.
Tomorrow, I'm gonna go to Prudhoe and back to coldfoot and Spend the night here in coldfoot Again.
Prudhoe bay, hugh delivers his Victory load.
Well, that was a [bleep.]
Awesome day.
Good weather all day.
Good trip.
Snuck out of dodge early this Morning before the scales were Open so I didn't get strip Searched.
Get something to eat and call Her a day.
After staying the Night in coldfoot, carey hall Rolls out of town with the pig Launcher, but once again, jack Jessee is running on his own Time.
Got a good start out of Coldfoot before noon and we just Got to go up to the shelf and Get chained up and wait for Mr.
Jack jessee to get done Eating his blueberry pancakes So he can help us get over the Pass.
Waiting up ahead is The biggest challenge of them Atigun pass.
But taking on atigun will have To wait until the haul road ace Finishes breakfast.
I guess he was ready to go And I wasn't.
That's 8.
15.
Out of 100 and that't's all I get back? [Laughs.]
that's right.
God.
I know from coldfoot to Wiseman, he only needs one Push truck.
This is where experience comes In.
And once more, jack Catches carey just in time for The big climb.
Jack's already made one mistake.
Damn transmission.
A missed gear on Atigun could send the entire Convoy over the edge.
I've been doing this for Years and I don't think about it Happening.
I don't want it to happen, but It happens.
People miss gears.
This is gonna be the real test, Getting up atigun.
There we go.
Warm day.
It's glazing things up.
Snow's gonna get a little weird.
Spitting out some chunks.
I wouldn't be surprised if we Didn't start spinning a little Bit, but hopefully it won't be Too much.
Looks like a long ways to the Bottom.
We're gonna be in second, over.
Sort of nice and easy and slow.
That way we got plenty of motor To play with if we start to have Any skipping or spinning Problems.
When you're push-Trucking, you Have to have a lot of faith in The guy in front.
Carey's excellent up front.
I've been with him many times.
Being back in the back, it's Kind of a stressful job Sometimes.
Here we go.
Nice and easy.
Can't see anything.
You can't steer.
You don't know what's coming up.
The trust factor there, it goes Way beyond most other jobs.
Finally, they reach The top, but surviving the climb Up is only half the battle.
Jack moves out in front to help Keep the 57 tons of rolling Steel under control for the long Ride down.
In atigun pass, there's not A runaway truck ramp.
We don't have those up here.
We have to do it right the first Time.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Coming down atigun With 57 tons on his back bumper, Jack struggles to keep the Mega-load under control.
In atigun pass there's not a Runaway truck ramp.
We don't have those up here.
We have to do it right the first Time.
Yeah, 200,000 pounds coming Down atigun running away would Not be a pretty sight.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
There you go.
Hold up, sir.
We're gonna creep right up to The bottom.
An hour later Jack and the pig launcher reach The other side and begin the Final push to prudhoe bay.
The truck yard.
I just arrived in prudhoe.
There's what I brought up.
I'm glad I finally got it here.
Now I'm gonna go fill up, see What's available, and take it Back.
Narrato eager to catch the Load count leaders Hey, trina.
Lisa scores a Paying backhaul for her trip South.
Lisa's new assignment is a van Full of flammable material.
I put these placards on the Trailer because there's a little Something flammable on board.
It should be good.
It should It should be fine hauling it.
With the morning Temperature at 30 below, the Van's brakes have frozen solid.
But that's not gonna stop lisa.
I looked at those tires and I figured they weren't moving in A million years and I just gave 'Em a good couple of hard smacks And they're all rolling.
I'm actually quite pleased.
The turn and burn Will give lisa her 12th load of The season and put her one step Closer to buying back her horse.
When I get my sky back, I'm the kind of person that's Gonna saddle her up and wander Off in the woods for a couple Days and just go camp out and Wander around.
I can't wait.
It's gonna be so much fun.
The next morning, Ray is up early to grab a Backhaul.
This is a pretty good load to Go back to fairbanks with.
It pays.
Pays better than getting nothing To go back.
So it's a drill rig and two Explosive boxes.
Rolling south with Load number 14, the Least-Experienced driver on the Road is now at the top of the Load count.
Well, I guess it pays off, You know, for busting your butt A little bit, you know? You work hard and you get the Bigger paychecks.
But ray's road to The top hasn't been easy.
