In four days you will go in for the surgery.
In the meantime, the staff here will monitor your condition and run a necessary battery of tests in preparation for the procedure.
How soon can I get back to training? I mean, I'm an athlete so I should recover quickly, right? You're gonna need several months of serious rest before you resume any normal activities.
Normal activities? I'm sorry, Lauren, but there is no possibility of you returning to training for the 2012 Games.
