Spooky noises are coming from vents
and pipes all over Motorvania.
Spooky noises? You mean like
[menacingly] Qua-ha-ha-ack!
[both] Uh
You know, like an evil duck.

But no, i-it's more like
[distant whirring]
[gasps] Exactly like that!
[baby crying]

Wait. That sound is coming from Echo Cave.

All right, here's the plan.
Sonnie, you'll go to Echo Cave
and figure out
what's causing those spooky noises.
Time to let the Sonnie shine!
And I'll come with you for backup,
in case whatever's making that noise
isn't so friendly.

the noise is just over there,
right across that big chasm.

-[gasps]
-[brakes squeal]

That's quite the drop.
I should be able to fly across.

These falling rocks could make me crash.
Whoa! Let's look around.
Maybe there's something we can use
to get across, like a rope or a bridge.
-Or a rope bridge!
-[gasps]
[sighs] A very old,
very rickety rope bridge.
We'll just have to be
extra careful driving on it.
Here we go.
[Bolts grunts]
-[bridge creaking]
-Nice and slow.
[Bolts screams]
-[gasps] Go, go, go, go, go!
-Jump for it!
[both grunt]
Whew! Made it.
-[whirring]

I'm thinking evil duck?
It's coming from right over there.
[whirring]

We're Mole Drills.
I'm Drillbert,
and this is my twin sister, Drillette.
[sighs] Thank goodness you found us!
We really need your help.
[grunting] Our drills are kind of stuck.
[drills whirring]
So, that's the sound
that's been keeping Motorvania awake.
-It's their drills.

And now we can't get them out.
It's time to Activate Ladder Arms!
[Bolts grunts]

-[Drillette gasps]

-These Moleys are free!
-[Moles laugh]
