NCIS New Orleans (2014) s05e12 Episode Script

Desperate Navy Wives

1 MAN: All right, everybody on the ground, face down! Get your face down! Are you deaf? Do you speak English? Get down! You hear me? You got to lay down! Oh, you got a problem, huh? Get down! You put a dye pack in there, Christine, I will kill your entire family.
Are we clear?! Are we clear?! Good girl.
Hey! What the hell do you think you're doing? I'm sorry.
Don't shoot me.
You hit that silent alarm, didn't you? Last mistake you'll ever make.
Don't! Let's go.
(sirens approaching) Let's get the hell out of here! Let's go! Come on.
Let's go! Start the engine! (engine starts) Let's go, let's go! Drive! Drive! I told you what would happen if you messed with me! Relax.
No one needs to get hurt now! (gunshot) NCIS:New Orleans 5x12 Desperate Navy Wives Boom, boom, boom, boom Bang, bang, bang, bang Boom, boom, boom, boom How, how, how, how Hey, hey You gotta come on.
Son of a Did I burn the coffee again? No, it's not the damn coffee.
But you did burn it.
My landlord.
I'm getting evicted, man.
Well, what'd you do? Why do you assume I did something? I'm-I'm playing the odds.
I'm the perfect tenant.
He's turning the building into condos.
- What? They didn't notify you? - Claims he did.
I never saw anything.
Now I got a week to vacate.
(sighs) Well, maybe it's a sign.
- What, that I need a good lawyer? - No, that you need a change.
You know? I mean, you're always saying that that place was too much for one person.
You said that the noise from the French Quarter at night was driving you - No.
No, I say a lot of things, Sebastian.
I don't know, wouldn't it be nice to just live somewhere quieter? Get more sleep.
Be less grumpy, then everybody wins.
You want your face burned, too? Whoa.
Play nice, or I'll separate you two.
(sighs) She started it.
Casual Tuesday at Belle Chasse? I'm designated hitter while Hannah spends time with her family.
Figured you guys could use some help.
(phone chirps) Or a referee.
It's the FBI.
Armed Forces Navy Credit Union was robbed this morning.
They got a body to go with it.
Lasalle was first on the scene with the FBI.
I'll see what he's got.
WADE: Dwayne.
You're not surprised to see me, Loretta? With Hannah out, I knew you'd jump at the chance to get back into the squad room.
Well, it's temporary, but Everything in life's temporary.
Sadly, our victim learned that this morning.
Who is he? It's Assistant Bank Manager Nelson Deets.
Navy reservist.
(camera clicking) Single GSW? Yes.
Nine millimeter.
Went beneath the teres major muscle.
I'd say he was trying to run.
Yes.
Got shot in the back.
King.
It's good to have you back in the field.
Thank you, Christopher.
What do we know? Two-man takedown team with a getaway driver outside.
FBI pulled the security footage.
- Clowns? GREGORIO: They jumped Deets while he was unlocking the rear employee entrance.
Yeah, they got away with the front house cash.
About 30 grand.
I'm guessing Deets was killed when they tried to raid the vault.
But without the surveillance footage, can't be sure.
Other cameras weren't working? SEBASTIAN: Oh, they were, until the smaller clown shot 'em all out.
One round per camera.
We're looking for someone who can shoot.
Well, there's paint from the security dye pack.
LASALLE: It's probably what got Deets killed.
He must have steered the robbers to a specific deposit box.
When they tried to remove the rigged money from the vault Boom.
Jackson Pollock.
You know, dye packs explode at almost 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
That's hot enough to cause severe burns, even through fabric.
I might be able to pull DNA from these fibers.
Well, get that to the lab, Sebastian.
Gregorio, Lasalle, canvass the area.
Somebody must have seen that clown car race off.
Let's hunt down this crew.
Find our killer.
I miss something? Well, you know, Hannah usually (clears throat) She says please when she gives us orders, but Well, get the hell out of here please.
Yes.
All right.
(chuckles) GREGORIO: Got it, boss.
See you soon.
Pride and the FBI found the getaway car in a drainage ditch near Gretna.
Any evidence? FBI techs are looking now, but the car was torched.
So not likely.
The crew didn't leave anything to chance.
SEBASTIAN: They left something behind.
Skin cells charred to the burnt fabric from the bank.
Tell me you got a CODIS hit.
I did, and this clown, he's less Bozo and more Pennywise.
Check it out.
John Manning.
Just added to the FBI's Most Wanted list three days ago after he escaped Riverbend Max outside of Nashville.
Most of his arrests are narcotics distribution, weapons possession.
Armed robbery is outside his M.
O.
Murder's not.
Looks like he killed a C.
O.
during his escape and shot a highway patrolman.
Desperate men do desperate things.
Maybe Manning and his accomplices are trying to score enough cash to flee the country.
Why come all the way from Nashville to New Orleans just to rob a bank? Maybe money's not the only reason he came back to town.
I'll check known associates.
Okay, Manning's ex-fiancée, Ashley Elwood, moved to Plaquemines Parish after he went to prison.
Oh, she got herself a nice little rap sheet, too.
Multiple arrests, including narcotics.
Yeah, but the, uh, case was dismissed.
Well, it looks like she stayed clean after that.
Started a new life as Mrs.
Ashley Curtis.
Wife of Navy Lieutenant Preston Curtis.
It doesn't mean she wasn't involved in the heist.
Old habits die hard, especially when bad influences come knocking.
All right, so Manning escapes prison, robs a Navy bank in the same city where his ex-fiancée, now a Navy wife, just happens to live? Way too many coincidences, if you ask me.
Well, we need to go see Ashley Curtis and ask her.
I'll call Pride.
(children babbling) (indistinct chatter) I'm sorry, just give me a second.
It's the witching hour.
Completely understandable, Mrs.
Curtis.
Uh, kids, backyard, now.
(children cheering, shouting) KATIE: All right, let's go.
ASHLEY: Hey, it's okay.
Go with Katie, all right? Oh, my big girl.
Hey, if you need backup, I'm right outside.
ASHLEY: Thanks.
KATIE: Okay? (Cammie babbles) Uh you said this isn't about my husband? He's all right? Yes, ma'am, he's fine.
(sighs) We're here about John Manning.
John's in prison.
Actually, he's not.
He escaped a few days ago, killed a C.
O.
, and headed down to New Orleans, where he robbed a Navy credit union this morning.
Murdered a bank manager, too.
My God.
PRIDE: Mrs.
Curtis? Has John made any attempt to contact you? No, I haven't heard from that man in five years.
- Are you sure? - Yeah, I think I'd remember if my convicted felon ex came knocking.
LASALLE: Okay, but it's a real coincidence that he came all the way from Nashville to New Orleans.
John was nothing but bad news for me.
I walked away clean, started over.
Preston, my daughter, the Navy.
You made a good life for yourself.
And I need to keep it good.
No one here knows about my past.
None of the other wives.
Not even Preston.
LASALLE: We'll keep it discreet.
Still, we need to ask you where you were at 8:00 this morning.
At the VFW, setting up a pancake breakfast for the Family Readiness Group.
PRIDE: Hosting the new Navy families in town? It was our welcome breakfast.
Got there at 5:00 a.
m.
, stayed through two seatings.
Cleanup till 10:00 a.
m.
Lots of people saw me there.
I'm sure they did.
Well, I've got to go back there tonight for orientation, in case you want to put a tail on me.
PRIDE: Mrs.
Curtis we're not the enemy.
Look, John was the biggest mistake of my life.
And I've been making up for it every day since.
If I do happen to hear from him, I promise you two will be the first to know.
KATIE: Cammie, get back here.
Oh, and, um, if you will excuse me, I think my four-year-old just got loose.
Cammie, come here.
Think she's telling the truth? Honestly I'm just not sure.
Hey, I interviewed the entire neighborhood around the credit union.
No one noticed a car full of clowns leave the scene.
Still no sign of Manning? He's disappeared.
Doesn't leave us much to go on.
Well, other than Ashley Curtis lied to you.
Check out her phone records for the last 24 hours.
She made at least ten calls to the same number.
Burner phone? Stolen phone, taken off a retiree in City Park.
Manning? Yeah.
And the phone stopped pinging early this morning, so he probably trashed it.
But he wasn't able to delete the cloud-based voice mail.
ASHLEY (on recording): John, don't do this.
Please.
- There's got to be another way.
- That's from last night.
GREGORIO: Sounds like Ashley knew about the robbery.
Why was she covering for him? Well, we got the voice mail, let's bring her in and find out.
Circumstantial at best.
She's either scared, or she's working with him.
Regardless, we don't have enough to to get her to talk.
You got something else in mind? We need someone who can earn her confidence.
What does that mean? What? (indistinct chatter) (whispering): What the hell is Pride thinking? I don't fit in with these women.
SEBASTIAN: Oh, I'm not sure about that.
I think you're really killing that sweater set.
Thank you.
Got our target.
Heading over to engage right now.
New girl! I need your help.
(yelps) We've got 15 minutes to turn a hundred napkins into sailboats.
(grunts): Oh Fold twice.
Triangles, okay? SEBASTIAN: This is the greatest day of my life.
So after two tours in Okinawa, I'd had my fill of sushi and I said to Ted, "Ted, if you love me, "you will take me back stateside, because I've got a career, too.
" Turns out, he loves me, though I was really hoping for a post in Hawaii.
Tell me about your family.
What's that? Your family.
Oh, yeah.
Um, Randy's with Sealift Logistics Command.
We were in Naples for the past six months.
You know, when the Navy says jump Right? - Mm.
Yeah.
Six tours, five cities, three countries.
- Wow.
- Kids? Yeah, one.
His name's Sebastian.
He's beyond annoying I can hear you.
but we love him.
WOMAN: Mm.
I've got three boys myself.
Always a mess-- and the stains? Food, dirt, ground-in grass? Yeah, those grass stains are SEBASTIAN: Oh, those are easy.
You just pretreat them with a powder detergent, and then you switch to liquid.
You know, I find that pretreating with powder detergent before switching to liquid does the trick.
Do you know those women? Ashley and Katie? Yeah, I know them.
But I don't know them know them, you know? - Not really.
- They're top kicks around here.
Kind of a close-knit circle, but they're nice, for sure.
Cool.
Oh, look, we're done.
Done? I've got a whole 'nother crate in the other room.
But you sit tight, 'cause I'm gonna go get them.
Okay.
(scoffs) (Tammy groans) You're doing great, Mama.
I got eyes on Ashley.
I'm moving in.
I am just terrified of a school search.
Everybody says to find a good elementary, right? But they totally leave out the preschool shuffle.
They won't even consider you unless you apply while your child's in utero.
When you finally get in, they transfer your family across the country.
Exactly.
We have two strikes against us because our husbands serve.
I know, I know.
You make it sound so daunting.
Oh, no, sweetie, you just hunker down and compel the school you want to accept your kid.
- Really? - I mean, that's what my mother-in-law says, but my son Sebastian's only four, so Oh, Ashley has a four-year-old, too.
Oh.
We should compare notes.
Yeah, maybe we should.
I'm Tammy.
- Katie.
- Hi, Katie.
- Ashley.
- Hi.
Manning's BOLO was extended statewide.
Still no sign of him.
Could have skipped town already.
I'm not so sure.
Dye packs that banks use are designed to stain money and skin bright red.
Manning got a face full of the stuff.
He can't just slip away.
Yeah, the minute he stepped out in public, he'd be noticed.
Yeah, it takes a specific combination of chemicals to remove the dye.
We track down where the chemicals are sold locally, could put us right on his trail.
It's worth a shot, Christopher.
(women laughing) No, guys, Randy's great, really, when he's around.
- Which is hardly ever.
- Ever.
Oh, God, it's hard doing this all on our own.
But we are serving a higher purpose, ladies.
To the Navy.
- To the Navy.
- Okay, you guys are joking, but I'm grateful.
Look, without Preston, and without women like you who support me, I'd be lost.
That is all thanks to the Navy.
MICHELLE: Damn straight, Ash.
To the Navy.
To the Navy.
To the Navy.
MICHELLE: And to you ladies.
You pulled off another incredible event.
Bravo-- hey, I just folded some napkins.
- Uh, Michelle Gardner.
- Hi.
Chairwoman of Family Readiness Group.
This is Tammy.
She's awesome.
I was assuming awesome Tammy could speak for herself, Ash.
SEBASTIAN: Oh, damn.
I think you just met the queen bee.
Eh, sometimes.
I'm a little overwhelmed right now, I get a little tongue-tied.
Something tells me you're never tongue-tied.
Right, I guess not.
- But I do understand overwhelmed.
- Yes.
I mean, that is what we're here for, right, ladies? Absolutely.
All for one, one for all.
MICHELLE: We've got options.
Babysitters booked, cleanup handled.
We can go over next week's schedule.
Carpool, soccer, potluck Or we can say screw it and get our drink on.
Yeah, I say screw it.
I second that motion.
Hey, I'm happy to buy another round.
Oh, thanks for that, but this is where we work.
We're heading out.
- Oh, okay.
KATIE: All right, let's do it.
- Nice to meet you, Tammy.
- Yeah, you, too.
- Bye, Tammy.
- Bye.
Hey, um, thanks for the drink.
Oh, of course.
I had a great time.
I hope to see you again.
Yeah, thanks for coming.
Oh, God! (laughs): Oh! Oh, Tammy.
I'm so sorry.
GREGORIO: I am such a klutz.
ASHLEY: No, it's fine.
Hey, uh, wait here for a sec, okay? - Yeah, sure.
- Okay.
Hey, would you guys Sebastian, Ashley's got a Comfort Court key card in her bag.
You thinking it's where John Manning's hiding out? I'm thinking we need to find out ASAP.
Yeah, all right, I'll call Pride and Lasalle.
- All right, meet me out back in five.
MICHELLE: Tammy.
Yeah? Seems Ashley's kind of fond of you.
You want to, you want to come tonight? Sure.
Yeah, let me text my babysitter.
Ah, first rule of ladies' night Never talk about ladies' night.
Sounds kind of ominous.
You have no idea.
ASHLEY: Come on.
It'll be really fun.
Thanks.
- I'm sorry about the bag.
I'm such a - Oh, it's fine.
PRIDE: Yeah, I'll review the Q4 budget tonight and get you some feedback in the a.
m.
, Steven.
Y-Yes, yeah.
Yeah, just hang tight.
Seem like you got something on your mind.
I'm trying to figure out why you're suddenly juggling two jobs.
Three, if you count the bar.
Well, a little multitasking never hurt anyone.
Work is one thing.
Distraction is another.
What would I be distracting myself from? Your father.
No matter what bad blood existed between you I'm okay.
That's what I said, too.
Then it hit me like a ton of bricks.
I appreciate you, Christopher.
I appreciate you looking out for me.
Now, where are we on finding Manning? Well, these are the local vendors who sell the chemicals that he needs to scrub the dye off his skin.
He'll be long gone by the time we clear these locations.
Thanks to Gregorio, we don't have to clear any.
The motel key card she found? Comfort Court has six locations in greater New Orleans.
But only one of them is a block away from everything Manning needs.
Perfect place for him to lay low until the heat dies down.
Let's go find out.
(gunshots) (whooping) All right.
You got it.
SEBASTIAN: I mean, I'm not trying to be sexist, but this is not what I thought ladies' night was gonna be.
MICHELLE: All right.
You're up next, Tammy.
ASHLEY: Tammy.
KATIE: Tammy.
(laughter) Oh Whoa.
Oh, God SEBASTIAN: That was convincingly awful.
Nice work.
I can't do Relax there, okay? I can't do it.
You're trying too hard.
MICHELLE: Ease your stance Firm grip, two hands.
Okay.
Both eyes open KATIE: Yes, please.
- Eyes open, yeah.
- Eyes open.
MICHELLE: And then, simply squeeze the trigger.
- Okay.
(whooping) Yeah! That's great! See? Just need a little patience.
Beginner's luck.
(cheers) Let's see what you got, Ashley.
All right, all right.
(whooping) MICHELLE: All right! SEBASTIAN: Um I think we found our sharpshooting clown.
Wow.
You're always showing off, Ash.
You used up all our targets.
Oh, I got some extras in my car.
Oh, I'll go get them.
KATIE: Every time.
Every time.
MICHELLE: Knock yourself out.
ASHLEY: Thanks, Tammy.
SEBASTIAN: So, uh, we got to assume Ashley's in on the robbery, right? Why, because she's got good aim? 'Cause she's got good aim and she was also dating that sociopath Manning.
Yeah, I'm still not convinced.
She's a dedicated mother, not a bank robber.
Yeah, well, maybe she's both.
Maybe, Sebastian.
I don't think she's alone.
W-What do you mean? Found packaging for a clown mask in Michelle's car.
- Wait, really? Yes, really.
Oh, wait-- shh.
Hey.
Got them.
Should we, uh, go back? These women, they're not just friends.
Yeah, I can tell you guys are really tight.
We're not just tight, we're sisters.
I'd do anything to protect them.
Is this your way of saying four is a crowd? I'm just wondering what it is you're looking for.
A place to fit in.
Maybe sisters of my own.
Come on.
Targets aren't gonna set themselves up.
Manager said Manning was holing up in 219.
(lock beeps, clicks) Clear.
Manning got the dye off his face.
That means he could be 100 miles from here now.
Yeah, well (zipper opens) I don't think he's going anywhere without this.
(footsteps approaching) Pride, someone's coming.
(lock beeps, clicks) NCIS, don't move! (both grunting) PRIDE: Chris, where are you? (moans) Over here.
- You all right? - Yeah.
That way.
Went that way.
(grunts softly) (both panting) So Manning is still in the wind, no sign of him anywhere.
I'm hoping you can tell me more about our Navy wives.
Well, we know where they are, at least.
Yeah, school drop-off at the moment.
Thank you.
But Gregorio's gonna run into Ashley at her local coffee shop after.
So, Katie Fisher, Ashley Curtis and Michelle Gardner.
All three women were at the pancake breakfast at the time of the credit union robbery.
That doesn't mean they couldn't have slipped out; credit union's only ten minutes away.
Not the smoking gun we need to build a case.
What do we know about their backgrounds? Katie Fisher, about a dozen parking tickets in the last three months.
Other than that and a fairly sick lotto habit, she's squeaky clean.
That leaves us Ashley Curtis and Michelle Gardner.
Well, Ashley was engaged to Manning.
Right.
But, turns out, she wasn't just his fiancée, she was Bonnie to his Clyde.
According to Nashville PD, Ashley helped him run drugs.
He refused to testify against her when she was arrested.
Yeah, he took the fall for them both.
So Ashley is indebted to him for keeping her out of prison.
What about Michelle? Michelle was a teller at the credit union for the last five years.
Then last year she quit after her husband was KIA.
So she could be our inside woman.
She knew how and when to best hit the bank.
SEBASTIAN: Yeah.
I mean, I've seen how close these women are.
It's not crazy to think that Ashley recruited Michelle.
Yeah, but why would Michelle help? I mean, it's one thing to do carpool together, it's another to commit a felony and murder.
Maybe we can leverage one of them in interrogation.
Turn on the other.
Unless they're more scared of Manning than they are us.
So what's our next move? We still got our own inside woman.
We turn up the pressure.
Force Ashley's hand.
Can you pass the half-and-half? (chuckles) Hey.
Hey.
How you feeling this morning? Other than needing an IV of coffee, peachy.
(chuckles) - It was fun though, right? - Yeah.
- Yeah.
- Thanks for inviting me.
Of course.
- Can I ask you something? - Sure.
You don't You don't have a lot of close friends.
Do you? Um Uh, I'm sorry, too personal.
No, it's just why do you think that? You seem lonely.
Kind of closed off.
Reminds me of me a little while ago.
Yeah, well, I've been burned too many times.
Made me cautious.
Can really only count on yourself.
Sounds like a bad breakup.
I've been there.
I was with this one guy.
Really bad.
Got in my head.
Almost ruined me.
Almost? Found the courage to quit him.
Found my strength.
Decided to become the person I wanted to be.
- The person you are now.
- Yeah.
(laughs) You know, that person was open to taking chances again.
I met my husband, found Michelle and Katie.
Everything changed for me.
- Good for you.
PRIDE: Mrs.
Curtis? Sorry to interrupt.
I need you to come with me.
You have got to be kidding me with this.
I told NCIS everything I know.
I don't think you did.
You need to come with me now and please don't make a scene.
You're the only one making a scene right now.
Tammy, don't.
No, wait a minute.
You come in here in the middle of a crowd, trying to embarrass you.
- It's all right, I'll go with him.
No, you don't have to go anywhere, Ash, unless he has a warrant, which he doesn't.
- Or else the cuffs would be out.
- Ma'am.
This does not concern you.
Sir, this does concern me and every woman in here who's husband is serving to make a difference.
You harass one of us, you harass all of us.
Now put your fancy sunglasses on and get the hell out of here.
Guess I can't come with you after all Special Agent.
We'll be in touch, Mrs.
Curtis.
LASALLE: Sounds like that went well.
She was perfect.
(sighs) - I am so humiliated.
- No, don't be.
He was a jerk.
- Yeah? - Yeah.
You know what? Let's just-- let's get out of here.
Let's go.
(laughing): Okay.
Come on.
SEBASTIAN: You think it worked? Yeah.
Christopher and I are gonna keep looking for Manning.
Sebastian, stick close to Gregorio.
Let's see how this plays out.
Here, sweetie.
Thanks.
We're officially in "none of my business" territory, but if you want to tell me why NCIS came to see you (sighs) Remember that ex I was telling you about? Yeah.
He's also a convicted felon.
Really bad guy; he escaped prison and came to see me.
- No way.
- Yeah, he he asked me for my help and when I said no, he threatened to hurt me.
- Hurt Cammie.
- Oh What did he ask you to do? (door opens) MICHELLE: Ashley? I heard about the coffee shop.
Why didn't you call me? Tammy was there.
She had my back.
Well, thank goodness for Tammy.
LASALLE: Hey, King, we got a hit on Manning.
Where? Parking garage security camera a few miles from the motel.
Stole a car.
Footage is less than an hour ago.
That's a late-model sedan.
Should have a trackable GPS.
FBI isolated the tags, I'm working the GPS now.
Car's headed west.
I'll coordinate with JPSO and NOPD.
We got this guy.
Soon as he's in custody, have Sebastian scoop up Ashley and Michelle.
(exhales) I was so close, Sebastian.
She was about to spill.
You think you can get Ashley away from Michelle, get her to keep talking? - I don't know.
Come on, T, you got this.
Okay.
You're right.
Ashley's starting a load of laundry, which gives us a moment for you to tell me who the hell you are.
You know who I am.
I checked.
Tammy Howard whose husband served at NSA Naples doesn't exist.
I want the truth.
You're a cop, right? I'm NCIS, Michelle.
I know that you and Ashley helped John Manning rob the credit union.
- That's - A fact.
We're minutes away from an arrest here.
Your best play is being honest.
Ashley's a good person.
If she hadn't cooperated, John would've killed her.
And you went along with it? I was trying to help my friend.
- No one was supposed to get hurt.
GREGORIO: Well, someone did, Michelle, and you two are in a lot of trouble.
Do you know where Manning is right now? I would tell you if I did.
There's a way out of this.
NCIS can help you both, but you have to trust me.
JPSO just took down the stolen car.
- Manning wasn't driving.
- Who was? Some kid he paid a hundred bucks to take it out of town.
Manning isn't running, he just wanted us to think he was.
Why? Let's go talk to Ashley.
We'll figure it out.
Okay.
Ashley? Let's all be really calm right now.
Have a little chat.
What's your name?! Tammy Howard.
You must be the ex-boyfriend.
You one of them Navy wives? Yeah, I'm just one of the girls.
That's funny 'cause these two swore they weren't gonna talk to anyone else! I can be very persuasive.
Too bad for you.
Let's go! SEBASTIAN: Hold on, Gregorio.
- Cavalry's coming.
- No! Was that a no to me or to him? What do you mean no? Why don't you just leave? We won't say a word.
(line ringing) PRIDE: Sebastian.
Pride, we got a problem.
Cops got my getaway money.
Y'all are gonna help me get more.
Not anymore.
That's funny, you thinking you have a choice.
You're gonna help me hit that other bank you told me about.
And then you'll help me leave town.
We're done helping you.
She's right, John.
You're on your own.
Just go! (shouting) (gunshot) Pride, you got to get here now.
Shots fired.
I'm not playing around here.
Guess you just earned a place on the team.
I'm not robbing a bank with you.
You don't have a choice! You try anything, I'll kill you both.
And then I'll find your kid.
Okay.
All right.
Let's go.
Come on.
(weakly): Help me.
Here, put pressure on the wound.
Okay? Right here.
This is NCIS Agent Sebastian Lund requesting an ambulance to 935 Wisteria.
Victim has a single GSW to the abdomen.
It's gonna be all right, okay? Where is Manning taking them? I tried to stop him.
PRIDE: Got it.
Manning just kidnapped Gregorio and Ashley.
Any idea where he's taking them? Sebastian says they're gonna rob another bank.
He doesn't know which one.
Michelle used to work at another bank, Crescent City Savings Loan.
- Well, it's got to be it.
She'd be familiar with security protocol, just like at the credit union.
(engine revs) You even think about leaving, your friend here is dead.
You're coming with me.
This one's not loaded.
But this one is.
Don't! Let's go.
Let's get the hell out of here! Let's go! Come on! Let's go! Start the engine! (engine starts) Let's go, let's go! Drive! Drive! I told you what would happen if you messed with me! Relax.
No one needs to get hurt now! (gunshot) Drive! Drive! OFFICER: Out of the car! Hands up! (sirens wailing) You're coming with me.
OFFICER: Get SWAT up here! NCIS! Don't shoot! - Hands up! On the ground! - Don't shoot! Stand down, Officers, stand down.
She's with us.
Manning has Ashley.
Come on! Secure the bank.
Make sure everybody's safe.
- We've got multiple exits.
- All right, split up.
Go.
(sirens wailing) Get out of the way! Manning, let her go! I'm a federal agent! Stay back! Ashley's got nothing to do with this.
She owes me! I saved her life! Doesn't mean it belongs to you.
- I'm getting the hell out of here! - No, wait, whoa.
You want to make a deal? Take me instead.
Okay? Cop's worth more than she is.
You know I'm right.
I'm the only way you get what you want.
Drop it, Manning! It's over, Ashley.
He can't hurt you anymore.
Hey.
Good news.
Michelle got out of surgery.
She's gonna pull through.
Where's Cammie? She's with Katie.
She's okay.
Your husband boarded a C130.
He's headed back from Dubai.
How am I gonna explain this to him? You were protecting your family.
I was a coward.
I should've stood up to John.
Yeah, well, you made some bad choices, Ashley, it's true, but you made them for all the right reasons, and there's nothing cowardly about that.
But I'm still going to prison.
NCIS is recommending leniency for extenuating circumstances.
Uh I I know we were never really friends but I think in another life we could be.
Yeah, I think so, too.
Take care, Ash.
SEBASTIAN: Hey, you made it.
Let's eat.
I'm starving.
Come on now.
Hang on.
Gregorio, you know jambalaya takes time and patience.
Yeah, well, I've got none of that.
You did good today.
Thanks.
For a minute there, I didn't think I was gonna survive.
The bank robber or the housewives? Both.
I never once doubted you.
LASALLE: Hey, me neither.
Does that mean someone's gonna feed me? All right, Gregorio.
- Let's make some plates.
- (chuckles) Yes.
Hey.
- Yeah? - Can I talk to you for a second? Yeah, sure.
Um so I was, I was kind of thinking, you know - Okay.
- Um If you're cool with it-- obviously, I don't want to - Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- Um You know, sometimes (clears throat) Sometimes when two people, uh, feel certain ways about where they Sebastian.
I would love to move in your house with you.
How'd you know I was gonna ask that? I didn't.
I was just hoping.
- Yeah? - Yeah.
- This is great.
Yeah.
- It's great.
Yeah! I finally got someone I can binge-watch Doctor Who with.
And you know what? Give me a good deal on the rent, I'll watch whatever you want.
- Done.
