Oh my gosh, Lilly. I'm so sorry.
When were you diagnosed?
Um, about four weeks ago.
I I had a twinge in my back,
um, and I'd lost some weight,
and I didn't wanna alarm anybody.
So I went to see a Dr.
Baines in Clear River.
She did some tests.
- Did you have a CT scan?
- Yeah, in Grace Valley.
What were the results?
I have pancreatic cancer.
Stage 4.
I know.

When she told me,
I, um
felt like the Earth stopped spinning.
- Have you had a second opinion?
- Yeah. Yeah, I have. It's the same.
I'd like to list you
as my emergency contact.
Uh, but what about Tara?
No, I haven't told her. I'm
not ready to tell anybody.
Knowing that I'm leaving my
kids without a mother is, um
tearing my heart out.

So, what do you do when you're
not working or watching movies?
I hang out at bars, work on my bike.

But I also have a ten-year-old Yamaha.
Did you ride when you were a kid?
Yep. My uncle got me into dirt biking
to keep me out of trouble.

anywhere I need to be.

is I have some hard decisions to make,
and I don't want anyone
second-guessing me.

Yeah. The cancer is incurable,
but the doctor's recommending
chemo and radiation therapy together
to give me the best chance
of extending my life.
And the problem with
that is the side effects.
What about surgery?
Yeah, it's also a possibility.
What's the point
of living a few months
longer if I can't function?

I would've been completely blindsided.

whether you think it's
