LeBron James couldn't do what y'all doing.

[dramatic music.]
Announcer: Now, please welcome your host, Jenna Dewan.
Meet me in the middle Welcome to "World of Dance.
" Losing my mind Here are your judges! Announcer: Derek Hough.
Just meet me in the middle Announcer: NE-YO Announcer: And Jennifer Lopez.
So why don't you just meet me in The qualifiers continue now.
Oh, baby, why don't you just meet me I'm anxious to see what's back there.
That's what I'm excited about.
Everybody's seen the show now.
- Right.
- So they know the level of competition.
It's like, sometimes I see somebody, and I feel like I need to get serious with them, so they know that I'm serious.
My favorite coaches growing up were [indistinct.]
.
- They were - Always the tough ones.
- Beasts.
- They make you - Better.
- They make you rethink your life.
You're like, what am I doing with my life? Isn't it crazy that we, like, don't hate each other? Oh, this is--this is good that I still like you.
- No, I think-- - Good job.
I think it's the other way, you know.
Hi.
My name is Jonas.
I'm 15 years old.
I'm Ruby.
I'm 14 years old.
And--wait, I thought I was-- I'm saying it, then you're saying it, then I'm saying it, so it doesn't look like The devil you know, the devil you don't We're here presenting the beauty of ballroom dance.
The devil you know When I was about eight years old, my dad, who's also my coach Two, three, up.
Searched the whole world to make sure that I had the best ballroom partner possible, so we went and we found Jonas in Lithuania.
Ooh, ooh, ooh And we started dancing together.
The first couple of years were tough, because adapting to a new language, a new culture.
But over time, because of our partnership, it really helped me to become the person I am here.
We were really meant to be together.
Lejos, lejos.
Más, más, más, más, mucho más, mucho más.
Mucho grande.
My dad does speak Spanish to us, and I'm like--I kind of like, context clues.
I'm like, "I know what that word means.
I know what that word means.
" [speaking Spanish.]
I don't even understand Manny's English.
- [laughs.]
- But it works perfectly fine, because look where we got.
We're here.
This is one of our greatest moments to show everybody our hard work can pay off.
Go out there and make your dad proud.
You got this.
[dramatic music.]
Announcer: Make some noise for Jonas and Ruby! [cheers and applause.]
- Let's go, guys! - Come on now! [heavy blast.]
[Legend's "The Score".]
Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah Nah nah nah nah nah Here we go, here we go It's about time that we set it off Here we go, here we go Red lights, I could never stop Got me singin' like Bang, bang, bang, bang Bang, bang, this fire Bang, bang, bang, bang Bang, bang, won't stop till we're legend Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah Nah, nah, nah, nah Won't stop till we're legend Blood, sweat, I'll break my bones Till all my scars bleed golden My name's forever known Whoa-oh, whoa-oh Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah [cheers and applause.]
Yeah! All right.
Yeah! Yes, okay! All right, all right.
First, I want to know a little bit about you guys.
How old are you? - I'm 14.
- 14? - I'm 15.
Now I'm even more impressed, knowing that you're 14 and 15.
I thought you were more around 18, I don't know.
You look young, but I thought-- - That's old.
[laughter.]
You work beautifully in sync.
But there was something about your attack-- super-strong performance quality.
I think that was the thing that hit me the most.
- Thank you.
- From people who are 14 and 15 years old.
- Yeah.
[cheers and applause.]
Definitely giving all up to Ruby.
You are absolutely a star, but I gotta give Jonas his props too.
- Yes.
- Did you see his-- Jonas' faces? Please do! He had the monster faces.
I love the monster faces.
Look at my face! You see the excitement in it! Dah! When she put her leg around your head and then flipped around and then landed in a split, the move was amazing.
Great job.
Guys, seriously, like, coming out here good energy.
I like the dance change, the dance style change.
You did some jive into a west coast swing.
You did a little throwaway.
I love that--using, infusing different styles of Latin dancing into one routine.
Great job with that.
I will just say, costume-wise, a little busy.
That's just my own preference.
I don't know how you could ever be too much onstage.
Yeah.
- But that's just me! - It's not-- You know what? It's not-- That's me with the gold pants, okay? So [laughing.]
More sparkles, please.
By the way, you know me and sparkles.
- I know.
- I love me some sparkles.
It's just about--it's actually just about the lines, the lines.
I feel like sometimes when you hit certain things, it can elongate a line, or it can cut it off.
So just something to think about in the future.
Last season, we had a ballroom couple.
They killed it in the first round.
The second round, they came back and they kinda fell flat.
So I just want you to know, if you make it through, please maintain that competitive vision, okay? Funny enough, that ballroom couple was actually my brother.
- [laughs.]
- [audience oohs.]
Wait a minute, wait a minute.
Didn't--wasn't their dad-- - That's my dad.
- Is that your dad? - Manny, Manny, right? - Yes.
- So he does the choreography.
- Yes.
- Okay, good.
So if you're here in the back, the choreography needs to-- every week, to get more and more impressive, right? - Yeah, absolutely.
- Nice job, everybody.
- I love it.
Great job.
- Great job.
We're gonna lock in our scores.
You need 80 or above to get to the next round, okay? [upbeat music.]
Okay, my little firecrackers, let's see if you made it through to the next round.
[Ben Rector's "Brand New".]
Like when I close my eyes And don't even care if anyone sees me dancing It's the way that I feel when I'm with you Brand new Yeah, yeah, yeah Congratulations.
- Thank you.
- We'll see you in the duels.
Brand new Brand new Absolutely beautiful.
Flawless.
Dad's happy.
- Yes.
Dad's already thinking of the next round.
We are gonna come out with everything that we have.
Congrats, you guys.
Good luck.
- Derek.
- Yeah? I know that your sister dances as well.
- Yeah.
- Is there competition between the two of you? - I never felt that way for her.
She always had a competition for me, though, 'cause I - Did she? Because I always beat her.
[laughter.]
[dramatic electronic music.]
I love it.
That's how you walk on a stage, like you own that thing, every single time.
Gonna steal something, right? Gonna steal this competition? That's what we're here for.
I have to say, watching you, you are a showman.
Announcer: Hitting the floor next Look who's next! Announcer: It's Eva Igo! Another day, another door Cha-cha-cha, boom-boom! I'm going back to my roots, another day Another day, another door I'm going back to my roots [dramatic music.]
Announcer: Next onstage, it's The Bradas! [cheers and applause.]
[siren wails.]
[ G-Eazy's "I Mean It".]
You know if I say something I mean it Yeah If I ever said I'm never scared Just know I mean it Yeah I mean it Whoo! You know I mean it Yeah, just know I mean it Signed Gerald, I'm sincere This year I'm in here I'll spell it out to make things clear Meanwhile your end's near I've gotta land and I'm in gear You people wonder who's next up That conversation really ends here You rappers just talk a bunch Stress me out, I chop a dutch Weak rappers tryna bite the sound But my style is a lot to munch G's dope, he might blow up, think I know Whoo! [cheers and applause.]
All black! Yes! Okay, so here, what did the bag say? In English, "Hello, we are The Bradas.
" - That's dope.
- Yeah! It's amazing to watch this, because y'all make difficult things look so easy.
Like, okay, when you dive through the strap in the bag [laughing.]
I just saw a neck breaking.
It didn't happen, so that was quality.
The three corkscrews-- plop, plop, plop.
You have to have ridiculous core strength to pull that off.
Definitely.
Great job.
I feel like, you know, with that whole setup with the bag, you're gonna steal something, right? Like, stealing this competition? That's what we're doing.
That's what we're here for.
Formations were super clean.
Everything was intentional.
Nice.
Slick, guys.
Here's the thing I want to say, and that a lot of people don't know, and that I think this show, more than any other dance show, is bringing to life-- is that dancers are athletes.
- Absolutely.
- They're athletes.
We train every day.
It takes an incredible amount of strength to do what we do.
There are some of the best athletes in the world on this stage.
And you guys were a perfect example of that.
LeBron James couldn't do what y'all do.
Okay? - Thank you so much.
- Thank you.
- We appreciate it so much.
- And now, we gon' lock in scores.
Let's see how you guys did.
Let's go, boys.
[upbeat music.]
Let's do it for our country.
Let's see how you guys did.
[Macklemore and Ryan Lewis: "Can't Hold Us".]
Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah Uh-huh, hey And all my people say Nah, nah, nah, nah, Nah, nah, nah, nah Ohhhh And all my people say Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh Can we go back? This is the moment Thank you so much.
Thank you, guys.
Congratulations! The ceiling can't hold us Like the ceiling can't hold us New Zealand is so proud of you.
I'm so proud of you.
That was absolutely amazing.
- Thank you so much.
- I cannot wait to see what you do next.
Congrats, you guys.
I do think that dancers are underestimated for the athletes that they are.
The strength and agility and balance, and then you have to be a performer on top of it.
- Yeah.
- They deserve a lot more credit than they get.
[dramatic electronic music.]
Have you got what it takes to compete next season for a chance to win $1 million Whoo! And be crowned the best dancer in the world? Go to WorldOfDanceCasting.
com for more information.
Hi, my name is Lucas.
I'm 14 years old, and I'm a tap-dancer from Leesburg, Virginia.
[bright music.]
I do have a stylist.
I'd like to think she was world-renowned.
Outfit came together just like I hoped.
Thanks, Mom.
When I first started dancing, my mom was very supportive.
But my dad, he wanted a kid that would play sports.
I tried, but it didn't work out so well.
We just grew farther and farther apart.
I was sort of stuck in my own head about having a son that wanted to dance.
And so it was-- it was difficult.
I acted like I didn't understand why he was distant, but I knew he was disappointed in me for dancing.
[Jordan Smith's "Stand In The Light".]
This is who I am inside That breaks my heart as a mom, and I just kept hoping that once he saw him dance, that he would start to see and connect again.
This is who I am, I'm not gonna hide Well, the first time I saw Lucas onstage, I was blown away.
Saw confidence in him, and I was hooked at that point.
You're my son and I love you and I'm incredibly proud of you.
I'm here for you all the way.
When I go out on that stage, I know my dad is proud of me.
This is the biggest competition in the world, and he can say, "My son just did this.
My son just did 'World of Dance'.
" 'Cause the greatest risk we'll ever take is by far Announcer: Make some noise and welcome to the stage Lucas Marinetto! [cheers and applause.]
[dramatic music.]
I like those shoes.
[Nick Jones's "Levels".]
Levels Levels, levels, levels Get on my elevator, baby we're going up Give me that now and later, I can't get enough So much to discover, please don't stop me now Every time I touch you, you lift right off the ground Let them go, all the one's tryna get in the door I'ma go where they all couldn't go Up a floor, up a floor, up a floor, oh I know, we can get higher There's levels to your love Yeah, there's levels to your love And I know We can get higher There's levels to your love And I keep on climbing up Come on, tap! There's levels to your love And I keep on climbing up Levels [cheers and applause.]
[whooping.]
Whoo! [indistinct.]
He swaggered out a little bit, okay.
First and foremost, I love all this, brother.
All right.
That swag that, "Listen, I'm here.
About to tap dance right quick.
Settle down, settle down.
" Here we go.
I love it.
I love it.
I love the energy.
That's how you walk out onstage, like you own that thing, every single time.
Good job.
Good job.
- Thank you.
Do you ever watch the old, great tappers? - I watch them all the time.
- Okay, good.
Well, you know that all those tap men are showmen.
- Right, yeah.
- I have to say, watching you, you are a showman.
I felt that with you.
- Thank you.
You have an innate kind of sense that it's about the crowd, and all great entertainers understand that it's not about them, that it's about these people having a good time.
But if you notice and you do study the greats, you see they all have their own style.
- Right.
- You know, Gregory Hines was a very kind of like-- like, soft-shoe tapper, while the Nicholas brothers did flips and all this stuff.
Savion Glover was just, like, digging down in the floor and kind of wild.
- Agreed.
They all had their own style.
That's something you work on over years.
- Right.
- But in this competition, you're gonna have to think about that right now.
- In days.
- You're gonna have to develop something of that, right now.
You don't got years, brother.
- Yeah.
- So You need it now.
You need it now.
I think for me, I was impressed with your choices, with your rhythmical choices within the song.
- It felt good.
- It felt good.
It felt good.
One thing I notice with tap is that there's always either like a theme there's a prop, there's a story.
I would say in the future, coming in here with the tap, think about that.
- Yeah.
What I would've loved is if the song broke down to where-- and it was just the tap.
To where we can really see - Yeah.
- We can really get into - Your dexterity.
What it is that's happening with your feet.
You know what I'm saying? - Yeah.
Like, this is the focal point.
Yet you didn't really give us the opportunity to fully focus on that.
That's all you needed.
Other than that, great job.
- Thank you.
- We're gonna score you and see if you make it through to the next round, okay? [James Bay's "Hold Back the River".]
Lonely water, won't you let us wander All right, brother, you need an 80 or above to get to the duels.
Good luck.
Here we go.
Hold each other Lonely water Lonely water Won't you let us wander Let us hold each other Hold back the river, let me look in your eyes Hold back the river, so I Congratulations, you made it to the duels, but you know what a duel is, right? Yes.
Somebody's trying to take your money.
Don't let it happen.
- It's just like school.
[laughter.]
I been there, brother.
So we'll see you in the duels.
Thank you! Stop for a minute and be by your side [all shouting.]
Hold back the river You know, having you here supporting me for something like this, of this caliber - Love you, son.
- I love you too.
[dramatic electronic music.]
That whole routine made my heart soar.
That's what you guys are here for, to show the world that you're the best.
I get the chills when I watch you.
That was signature Eva, but like, 2018.
I think your dance face is very much like this, like - What in the heck? - Like half a smile.
- Half a smile? - Half a smile and half a closed eye.
It's kind of the suave face, you know what I mean? Like, I'm very suave.
- Hmm, interesting.
I'll have to be aware of that next time.
[laughter.]
Is there any judge you're particularly excited to talk to? [all cheering.]
Wait a minute.
You drew this? - Yeah.
- That's the expression he's gonna be making while you guys are dancing.
[laughter.]
All: We're Expressenz! A contemporary dance group from Indianapolis, Indiana.
We've been dancing together since we were about nine years old.
We've been through everything together: boys, breakouts.
We're all like sisters.
[laughter.]
[all shouting.]
Even though we are from a small town, we are not underdogs here, and we don't want people to underestimate us.
What's, like, your strength as a group? - Our turn sections.
- Is there any training techniques you have to do? - Ankle weights.
- On our legs.
- You use ankle weights? - Yeah.
We train with 2 1/2 pounds on each ankle for our legs to be really strong.
To have a perfect turn, you want to be an uncooked noodle.
Not flimsy, just uncooked.
- Noodle.
- The noodle analogy.
Your living a dancer's fairy tale right now.
So go out there and just love every moment on that stage.
This is our last time dancing together, because Cam's leaving.
It's her last year.
This is our last year as a full, complete group because we'll have one leaving us next year.
I'm a senior in high school, and I am about to graduate.
It's heartbreaking that this is kind of my last hurrah with the team, but I can't imagine a better way to go out with a bang than to be here at, like, the biggest competition in the world.
I'm so emotional right now.
I love you girls.
[dramatic music.]
Announcer: Next to hit the stage-- Expressenz! [cheers and applause.]
Whoo! [Carrie Underwood's "Something in the Water".]
He said, "I've been where you've been before" Down every hallway's a slamming door" Then somebody said what I'm saying to you Opened my eyes and told me the truth They said, "Just a little faith, it'll all get better" So I followed that preacher man down to the river And now I'm changed And now I'm stronger There must be something in the water Oh, there must be something in the water Oh, there must've been something in the water [vocal harmony.]
Stronger [cheers and applause.]
What the hell?! Wow, all right.
All right.
Ladies! Wow! [laughter.]
I'm gonna start with the obvious.
Those turns were so in sync, it was crazy! [cheers and applause.]
Is there a way that you practice the turns? We use ankle weights when our training.
- Say what? - Ankle weights.
And then when you take them off, it's like your leg just floats up.
Oh, so that's what I've been missing out on.
Okay, all right.
- I like it.
I like-- - That's what--okay.
- All the dancers get ankle weights.
Buy ankle weights.
[laughter.]
Got it.
So with that said, for me, it felt kind of like a studio routine.
Just moving forward, if you make it to the next round, I don't want to feel, like, stage school emotion where it's like practiced emotion.
I want it to feel authentic.
Does that make sense? - Yes.
- So just think about that for, you know, the future.
[cheers and applause.]
I agree with Derek.
Super together.
And everybody was moving as one unit.
You make everything look so effortless.
It's an effortless elegance, is what you have.
Oh, thank you so much.
[laughing.]
I'm looking at the scoreboard here, and okay, transitions, cleanliness, execution, difficulty, musicality-- you guys hit all of these.
The one thing that fell short to me is that it felt like the kind of piece that was supposed to bring you to tears, and yet I--I'm not crying.
- Yeah.
Just authenticate that emotion and you guys are gonna be hard to beat.
- Thank you.
- Thank you.
I'm gonna-- I'm gonna disagree with the boys here.
[cheers and applause.]
That whole routine made my heart soar.
[cheers and applause.]
We have our moments where we're soft and slow like that, you know what I mean? And it's And we're dancing through the fields Yes, I just--you know, it's just like, ah-ha-ha, and that's what it felt like to me.
I really, really thought it was beautiful, and it couldn't have been executed more perfectly.
If I did have anything to say, it would be, remember you want to be the best.
And that's what you guys are here for, to show the world that you're the best.
And to do that, there has to be a little bit of grit in that.
But this routine, to me, was perfect.
It was beautiful.
- [together.]
Thank you so much.
All right, ladies, we're gonna lock in our scores.
[mellow music.]
The technique was Off the chizz-ain-uh! No matter what happens, guys, it's been incredible.
We're locked in.
Let's find out your scores.
- little faith, it'll all get better So I followed that preacher man down to the river And now I'm changed [all screaming.]
And now I'm stronger There must be something in the water Oh, there must be Congratulations, ladies.
You made it to the duels.
Good luck.
This next round is difficult.
The duels is hard.
Thank you so much! in the water I'm, like, shaking.
I have tears in my eyes.
Like, what just happened? They said we were perfect.
Like, I can't even.
That was insane.
- Ladies.
- [all screaming.]
- Congratulations.
- She's your biggest fan ever.
I drew a picture of you in art.
Oh, my God! That's It's so good.
[cheering.]
[dramatic music.]
It's been eight years since we've been away from the competition scene.
We're here to win $1 million.
My eyes were glued to you the entire time.
You take popping choreography, robotics, slam it together, and you get [bell dings.]
All: Poreotics! [hip-hop beat.]
We always dance with our sunglasses, no matter what.
Wow, these are amazing.
This is to make you feel cooler, or are you checking out the competition? - Both.
- What are these about? Both? Ooh, sly.
I like that.
Poreotics was founded in 2007.
We're best known for winning "America's Best Dance Crew.
" We were also in a music video with Justin Bieber and Usher.
It's been eight years since we've been away from the competition scene.
A lot of us actually took on regular jobs and went back to school.
Watching last season, it was very inspiring to see our friends like Jabbawockeez, Kinjaz, Super Cr3w, compete in this competition, and it really made us want to be a part of that legacy and try to create our own as well.
We're here to win $1 million.
All: Whoooo! And one million hearts.
All: Oooooh.
Announcer: Please welcome Poreotics! [dramatic music.]
[cheers and applause.]
All right, okay.
Familiar faces.
[Black Coast's "Trndsttr (Lucian Remix)".]
Fire when the strobe hits You, you I dare you, play your cards Boy you bet I'm a trendsetter, too Fire when the strobe hits you That's it, Brian? Bet you're looking for something new Staring off across the room Bet I'm a trendsetter, too Oh, oh, oh Bulletproof on another level I hit up the crew Select never settles F-fi-fi-fire strobe hits you [cheers and applause.]
All right, all right.
Poreotics! Poreotics, first of all, I thought it was a great performance.
I think you guys have all the ingredients to do very well in this competition.
Because your body control-- you guys, you can see that you guys are creative, your musicality to the music was beautiful.
It was so fantastic.
But with that said, at the beginning, it started out, I was like, "Wow, this is great, this is great.
" And then somehow I felt myself settle into my seat, and I want to be at the edge of my seat the whole time, from start to finish.
You have everything that it takes.
You just need to restructure it a little bit to where it elevates at the end and it hits its peak.
All right? - I agree.
You definitely have the ingredients to go far.
But the card trick-- honestly, I don't even feel like it was needed.
I love that your mind went there, to even think to try to create that, but we need to come out here and show these people something that they haven't seen before.
[cheers and applause.]
I'm gonna, um, have to disagree with NE-YO and Derek on this, because honestly, my eyes were glued to you the entire time.
Queen! [laughter.]
I didn't want to miss one movement.
And those little arrow hands you made to, like, people at certain points-- you talk about something we've never seen before.
We've seen a lot of pop-locking hip-hop groups-- Kinjaz, Jabbawockeez, all these guys who are amazing and who I love.
I'd never seen anything like that.
That was a new move.
You know what I mean? So that's always exciting to see.
I do believe that you guys have a lot of other tricks in your pocket.
- No pun intended.
Besides the cards.
So, make sure that we go there.
But I think you guys did a great job.
We should lock it.
- Yeah, let's do it.
Let's do it.
- Thank you, thank you.
Type of party It was a good show, you know? The costumes-- they're pros, you know? getting started All right, Poreotics.
Here we go.
See what we got.
The sound of your heartbeat How it always calls me Finding my way back to you Feeling it more now than ever I'll do this forever This right here is my type of party Congratulations, guys.
We'll see you in the next round.
Great job.
- Thank you.
[cheers and applause.]
I love the personality.
They got more, too.
They got more in there.
You can tell.
- Yeah! We're gonna take the judges' critiques, this opportunity this opportunity to make the world fall in love with Poreotics all over again.
[dramatic electronic music.]
In the last year, I've grown up a lot, and I'm ready to come out and fire stronger.
.
[Ellie Goulding's "Burn".]
I'm Eva Igo, and I'm back.
They, they gonna see us from outer space Outer space, light it up Walking around backstage generally brought back memories of last season.
[cheers and applause.]
Eva, you are absolutely extraordinary.
The choreography was amazing.
It had concept.
It had story.
I never thought that I would be the runner-up of season one.
One of the best moments of my life.
You are an inspiration to young girls everywhere.
Thank you.
I was really happy for Les Twins, and they definitely deserved it.
But being so close to something and barely missing it was really difficult.
But just like the Olympics, if you don't get the gold, then you can train harder and come back and try again.
I don't think that I've shown the judges all that I have yet.
In the last year, I've grown up a lot.
And I'm ready to come out and fire stronger.
We can light it up, up, up The feedback I got from fans was pretty awesome.
They even called themselves the Eva Army.
And we gonna let it burn, burn, burn We gonna let it burn I got a lot of messages from little girls who look up to me.
I never in a million years thought that I'd be a role model, because I'm only 15.
I'm still the same girl from last season.
Shining up to the sky The feeling of being back on the "World of Dance" stage is what I've been waiting for.
Let it burn And I'm ready for it.
I'm going for the gold this year.
[dramatic music.]
Announcer: Hitting the floor next, it's Eva Igo! [cheers and applause.]
- Look who's back! - Hey! - Look who's back! - Good to see you again! [cheers and applause.]
[Hidden Citizens' "I Ran (So Far Away)".]
I walked along the avenue I never thought I'd meet someone like you Meet someone like you Reached out a hand to touch your face You're slowly disappearing from my view From my view Couldn't get away I couldn't get away I ran I ran so far away I just ran I ran all night and day Whoo! I couldn't get away [cheers and applause.]
All chanting: Eva, Eva, Eva! Eva! Eva! Eva! - Whoo! - Yes! That was signature Eva, but, like, 2018.
Like - Yeah! A whole new level of intensity, and passion, and everything that we watched you grow into last year.
I am a little bit afraid of what we're gonna see this year and how more of a beast you have turned into.
This is nuts.
You set the bar.
You keep it right there, and we'll see what's gonna happen this year.
- [laughs.]
[gasping.]
You know, you won your division last season.
- Reigning champ.
- Reigning champ in that area.
I was little nervous.
I was like, "Oh, Eva, she's back so soon?" And then you just completely just blew me away again.
I get the chills when I watch you.
Your ability, your athleticism, to just dominate that floor.
- Stop on a dime, the way she does.
- Unbelievable.
And then you just do that.
You go, a-ha.
It's the funniest thing.
- [giggling.]
You're fantastic as usual, Eva.
I love it.
Thank you.
You are just a joy to watch.
It's not just because of your ridiculously amazing flexibility.
It's not because of how technically sound you are.
It's the passion and the energy, and it's-- it's always fun to me to watch you transform.
You come out onstage, and it's, "Ooh, hi, guys.
" And then as soon as it's time to go, it's like [growling.]
[laughter.]
I'm happy that you're back.
I wish I could say your only competition this year is you, but it's--it's some monsters back there.
So, everything that you are, to the next level, baby.
That's what we need.
What I love about this show is the ability to come back.
Right? In the Olympics, you didn't quite make it, you train harder, you get better.
Then you come back to win.
We're gonna put in our scores.
[Kygo's "Stargazing".]
Then it's beyond us Let's see and decide Okay, we're locked in.
Let's see your score.
And I will still be here Stargazing I'll still look up, look up Look up for love I will still be here Stargazing I'll still look up, look up Look up for love Don't you, give up, for me Don't fall, don't give up I guess we're gonna see you in the duels.
- Thank you.
- Thank you for coming back.
Congratulations! for me Don't fall, don't give up For love Getting a 95 in the qualifiers is amazing, but scary, 'cause it's just the first round, and you want to top it every single time.
This is probably the best feeling in the world.
The minute she comes out with her first move and she sticks that backflip - Boom! - And landed on both feet, right there, you know you're dealing with a different level.
The people here, when they saw Eva walk in, might've shook 'em a little bit.
- For sure.
Might've shook 'em a little bit.
Hopefully they can see this and elevate their game.
Don't give up, for love
