Hot Wheels: Battle Force 5 (2009) s01e25 Episode Script

125 - Axis of Evil, Part 1

I'll take the key, Kalus.
You take a hike.
[GROWLS.]
VERT: Another zone secured.
Let's take it home, guys.
[GRUNTING.]
Snap.
Huh.
Another battle lost to the subspecies.
Have you no Vandal pride? At least we didn't flee in fear like those cowardly Sark.
Well, most strange.
The robots were fighting us under the subspecies then just seemed to disappear.
KALUS: zemerik.
What black magic is this? A Sentient artifact? [GRUNTS.]
zEMERlK: Chrono-porters.
Ancient time-jump discs.
Their effect is temporary but they could bring us victory.
Will you join forces with me if it means domination of the multiverse? [GASPING.]
If we combine the forces, why do we need this wizardry? To convince the terrible organics that they have defeated both of our armies once and for all.
With their guard down, Earth will be defenseless except for the lone Sentient guarding the precious vault of battlekeys.
The keys will allow us to invade Earth through multiple portals.
And if Sentient law proves correct they may even allow access to new worlds yet to be conquered.
But we must reach the vault before Sage can thwart our plan.
She would attempt to destroy them rather than see them fall into our hands.
The element of surprise will ensure our success.
Your answer, Kalus? [SPITS.]
Long live the axis.
[ALL CHEERING.]
How long does Sage have to stay on this cyber life support? I tried every configuration, Vert, but she just won't hold a charge.
Like that laptop I bought at zeke's yard sale.
Should've had a clue when it came with a kite and a key.
If she keeps on running on backup power - she'll fry her logic board.
- My condition is not your primary concern.
[ALARM BLARING.]
- Stormshock detected.
- Don't leave your power orb, Sage.
We'll be back as fast as we can.
Sage can be confined to the MOBI forever.
We've got to do something.
We've got to stay on mission.
- Get the battlekeys, seal the zone.
STANFORD: Right.
Sage would've wanted it that way.
I have not expired yet, Stanford.
Ah, ha, ha.
Sorry, love.
Didn't mean, um, uh.
Oh, there's the stormshock.
Gotta go.
Whoa.
Mega power plant.
Yeah.
Somebody decide to air condition the multiverse? I'm getting the same readings when we're inside a stormshock.
Maybe this is their power source.
Whoa! Mega surge.
Keep an eye on your gear, guys, and let's try not to get crispy.
Not gonna be easy when we're fighting Sark.
And Vandals.
What, did they have a sleepover last night? Is it possible they've joined forces? Just means it's ugly times two.
We gotta grab that battlekey.
On it.
Cover his flank.
Perfect.
The organics are following the zurk right into our trap.
Kalus, call off your forces.
Why? We have them outnumbered.
Stick to the plan.
If the organics think they have destroyed us so will the Sentient, then-- Then we slip through the portal with the key undetected and seize Earth.
The planet, the Hub and all the battlekeys.
Why go count mere pawns when an entire world can be ours? [CHUCKLES.]
Very well.
Vandals, regroup.
[GRUNTING.]
Glowing-disc things in place, Lord zemerik.
Looks like they're forming a defensive perimeter around the key.
Standard Sark strategy.
A protective phalanx to get the key back to Sark world.
We gotta thin the herd before they get there.
Precisely the ploy I expected.
Continue moving towards chrono-porters and prepare for time shift.
zurk, attack! They took the bait.
We'll keep them busy.
Zoom, look for an opening to snatch that key.
Flashy moves, lads, but best not to get too flashy in here, eh? zurk, execute end game.
[MUMBLES.]
That out-of-control Sark's about to.
Take cover.
[ALL SCREAM.]
Dudes, they're all gone.
Huh.
I guess they picked the wrong spot for their final throw down.
So then, it's over? Not so fast.
Check the area.
I'm getting nothing on my scanner.
And my echo-map is bad guy free.
We beat them.
Huh? - Huh? - Ha-ha-ha.
We won the war.
Whoo-hoo! [ALL CHEERING AND LAUGHING.]
SPINNER: Yeah.
- Hmm.
[MUSIC PLAYING LOUDLY OVER SPEAKERS.]
[ALL CHEERING.]
Hey, Vert, we shut down zemerik and the Sark for good.
No rebooting.
I guess you're right.
And it will take the Vandals years of them fighting to settle on another Vandal warlord.
[ELECTRICITY CRACKLING.]
Um-- Maybe we should move this party back to Earth.
Oh! Away from the killer light show? Killer.
This light show could be the lifeline we need to save Sage.
You're thinking of grabbing Sage and recharging her here? - Uh-- - Sounds like a plan.
My electronics are getting power-slammed just sitting here.
But a portal crossing in Sage's condition? She'd never survive.
She doesn't have to cross anything if we bring the zone to her.
It's a combination of lithium titanate, nanocrystals and repurposed Sark parts.
And this super battery will store enough energy to recharge Sage? And blow-dry the Amazon Rainforest.
SHERMAN: Whoa.
I'm showing a quadrillion volts.
Give or take, a trillion.
Oh, goody.
And I forgot my rubber gloves.
Here goes.
Attaboy.
Already at 10 percent capacity.
You said they'd be gone back on Earth celebrating.
Quiet, mutant.
A thinking warrior adjusts his battle plan, adapts to changing situations.
[DEVICE BEEPS.]
SHERMAN [OVER SPEAKERS.]
: Everybody, with all this loose energy floating around better power down your weapon systems.
VERT: Right.
Don't wanna risk an accidental overload.
Okay, guys.
You heard the man.
Take your vehicles off-line.
Sonic cannons officially deboomed.
Time to sit back and enjoy the fireworks.
Now is the perfect opportunity to slip through the Earth portal undetected.
[GROWLS.]
We have the battlekey the element of surprise and they are vulnerable.
We should attack now.
Captain Kalus is right.
It's the perfect chance to finish off the vile subspecies once and for all.
Perhaps.
But we must ensure no one escapes to warn the Sentient.
We cannot risk her destroying the keys before we reach the vault.
My Vandals will block the Earth portal.
You can use your thinking warrior skills to ambush them.
When zemerik makes his move, we steal the battlekey from him.
Brilliant, Captain Kalus.
I know.
Forty-two percent.
Looking good.
Ambush.
Evasive action.
Power up those weapons.
But I thought they were.
Oh, they gotta be g-g-ghosts.
Trust me, they're real.
Buster, keep sucking up power.
We'll keep them off you as long as we can.
[GRUNTING.]
Whoa! [GROANS.]
STANFORD: Oh, come on, come on.
Give Daddy some boom.
Huh? Fifty-eight percent.
Over halfway home.
[GRUNTING.]
Sixty-one percent.
VERT: Regroup.
Just hold him off a little longer.
Which them? "Them" them? - Or them? - Huh? Kalus, you abandoned your post.
Actually, I abandoned your plan.
- Orders? - zemerik still has the battlekey.
Stop him at all costs.
Hah! Vandals, to the Earth portal.
Lecherous beast.
[WHIMPERS.]
Oh.
Aah! Aah.
Sark, disengage.
Pursue the Vandals.
Battle Force 5, portal breached.
Extreme countermeasures.
Go, go.
Going's a little slow, mates, but we're on our way.
[BEEPING.]
Vert, what about Sage? We're only at 78 percent.
It'll have to be enough.
We need all our wheels in this fight.
[SCREAMING.]
[GROWLS.]
They locked us out? How? When a battlekey seals a zone, even identity modules won't override it.
So we're stuck here forever? And the Vandals and Sark are on Earth with no one to stop them.
How are we gonna get home? We need a stormshock portal.
And we need one now.
One stormshock portal coming up.
- You can just whip up a portal? - What--? Oh.
You question the genius of my little brother? - You could just whip up a portal? - Only in this zone.
And only because it powers all the stormshocks.
I might be able to jumpstart one in theory.
Subspecies, I command you to tell your Vandal master the location of the battlekey vault.
Heh.
Foolish mutant.
That organic knows even less than you.
I have the coordinates for the vault.
The battlekeys will be mine.
Huh.
Except for one.
Very well, you may follow.
At the first chance, dispatch him.
Did you just see that? Heh.
Darn straight.
Not every day they shoot a movie in Handler Corners.
Don't just stand there.
Them Hollywood folk have got to eat.
I'll start flipping burgers and you start raising menu prices.
SHERMAN: Gotta wait for a power surge, Spinner, then it's all on you.
But no pressure, right? We did it, Sherm.
And then some.
Capacitors got 100 percent charge.
Doors open.
Let's move.
Check out the tire tracks.
They're headed for Handler Corners.
Buster, take the tunnel to the Hub and recharge Sage.
We'll take the town.
SHERMAN: We're back.
SPINNER: With batteries included.
Wasn't there supposed to be a battle for the fate of the planet? [SIREN WAILS.]
Hey, zeke told me about your flick.
No stunt shows on the street without a permit.
Same goes for your Hollywood pals.
Hollywood pals? The special-effects robots and monsters at your garage violating noise ordinances.
By the way, they look faker than a $3 bill.
Initiate systems check.
Reboot prognosis optimal.
Way to go, bro.
We invented the first Sentient energy drink.
It's raining bad guys.
Initiate lockdown mode.
They're inside the Hub.
[YELLS.]
Sark, cut through the floor of the vault.
Get your middle fingers out of our cookie jar, zemerik.
[GRUNTING.]
SAGE: The keys must not fall into enemy hands.
They're combined power can form a gateway to other worlds.
If we cannot defend them, we must destroy them.
But how? Still got a pretty good charge left.
A multiverse cocktail could trigger a battlekey meltdown.
Maybe ours too.
No choice.
Just do it.
[GROWLING.]
Uh-- Oh! [CHUCKLES.]
[GROWLING.]
[PULSATING.]
What's happening? The keys have bound together and formed a new portal.
There's no telling where it leads.
[ROARS.]
[YELLING.]
zEMERlK: Aah! - I stand alone.
[GRUNTING.]
VERT: Not quite.
I think it's time you dropped dead on your friends.
Sage, no.
If victory is not mine, neither will it be yours.
- No.
- Sage.
I'm going after her.
Who's with me? See you on the other side.
[VERT GRUNTS THEN SCREAMS.]
[BOTH SCREAMING.]
[SCREAMING.]
[SCREAMING.]
[WHIMPERS.]
[SCREAMING.]
