[ Whirring .]
The proton accelerator.
Lord Dregg will be pleased.
[ Raphael .]
Oh, no, he won't.
'Cause you're goin' home empty-handed, creep! [ Grunts .]
We finally got the drop on the Techno-Gang.
What are we hiding for? We gotta stop 'em! We will, Carter, as a team.
Now here's the plan.
This sonic disintegrator will stop them.
Forget the plan! They've got the proton accelerator! Dude, no! Time to kick a little techno-tail! Yaah! Yaah! That kid's gonna give me an ulcer! [ Grunts .]
I'll just take that, amigo! Back off, techno-goons! Yeah, and tell your boss, Dregg, to stop messing with our planet! Proton accelerator acquired.
Fall back.
They're getting away with that gizmo! What about Carter? Hey, he caused this mess.
He can wait.
[ High-pitched Frequency .]
[ Explosion .]
Whoa! It's raining roof! Alpha to mother ship.
Target the deviant earthlings.
Look out! [ Groaning .]
Gotta help the guys! Suddenly I feel like we're at the wrong end of a shootin' gallery.
[ Roaring .]
It's that weirdo again.
Come on! We've gotta get the proton accelerator back.
[ Growls .]
Uh, maybe we should take a little rain check on that.
[ Alpha .]
Take out that building.
[ Turtles Shouting .]
Grab on, dudes! [ Grunting .]
Well, there's no sign of Carter or that weird dude.
Hey, who the heck is that freak-o anyway? Some kind of mutant, I guess.
And he always seems to show up just in time to save our shells.
But what about Carter? [ Sighs .]
Nobody saved him.
[ Carter .]
Looking for someone? Dude! Hey, don't ever scare us like that again! You mind telling us how you got through that blast in one piece? Uh, the impact blew me onto that fire escape.
Pretty lucky, huh? Maybe.
But luck's no substitute for teamwork.
Hey! I'm on the team.
You don't act like it.
Yeah, you shouldn't have jumped the gun back there.
Those techno-creeps had the proton accelerator.
If you'd listened to me, we would have outflanked them.
But instead, we had to protect you.
Yeah.
You let them get away with that gizmo.
At least I did something.
If you're not part of the team, you're part of the problem, Carter.
Remember that.
Hey! I don't need this.
Whoa, does that dude have a lot to learn.
[ Dregg .]
My molecular converter was damaged during our escape from the galactic patrol.
But this primitive proton accelerator will restore it sufficiently to achieve my aim.
Repairs completed, Lord Dregg.
[ Beeping .]
Perfect.
It purified the polluted water.
Prepare our descent to Earth.
This device will give me supreme power.
And I won't even have to fire a single shot.
[ Typing .]
There's no sign of the Techno-Gang's ship anywhere.
You mean they got away without a trace? [ Bubbling .]
Guys, here's a sign I'm not too happy with.
This mutagen is really acting weird.
[ Beeping .]
[ Beeping Continues .]
Hey! Something big's headed this way.
[ Communicator Chirps .]
Guys, it's April! Would this be about a huge U.
F.
O.
descending on the city? How did you know? Lucky guess.
- What you got? - It's Dregg.
He's announced his arrival to the authorities, 15 minutes ago.
What? The mayor and the city council are going to meet him.
Man, what's that space case up to this time? I don't know, but we've got to check this one out.
[ Crowd Murmuring .]
Here it comes! [ Man Gasps .]
Oh! People of Earth, I am Dregg.
My own planet was long ago destroyed by greed and war.
I have come to save your world from a similar fate.
Yeah, right.
And I'm the Easter Bunny.
To prove my intentions, I bring you this molecular converter.
This is pollution from one of your rivers.
Behold how it is transformed into clean, pure water once more.
[ Crowd Gasping .]
And this is just the beginning.
[ Crowd Cheering .]
They're buying it.
Maybe he's on the up-and-up? Get real! We gotta tell them what a creepazoid that dude is! I don't think we're in any position to sway them.
All I require is a base of operations so that I can put my advanced technology to use for the good of your planet.
[ Crowd Cheering .]
I bet they're gonna give it to him too.
[ April .]
Responding to the alien's gesture of good will, the city presented him with its newest skyscraper, which has been renamed Dregg Tower.
Dregg has been working around the clock, turning the building into a citadel of science for the good of mankind.
Live from Dregg Tower, this is independent field correspondent April O'Neil signing off.
Man, this is so bad.
We've gotta blow the whistle on that slimeball! First, I wanna know what he's doing in that building.
Come on.
- [ Grating Clatters .]
- Ahh.
The good old sewers.
[ Chuckles .]
They'll get you anywhere.
I figured we wouldn't stand a chance getting in through the front door.
[ Beeping .]
[ Donatello .]
Guys? I'm not sure we stand a chance at all.
Intruders.
Annihilate.
Intruders.
Annihilate.
[ All .]
Look out! They must be part of Dregg's defense system.
Man, talk about being obsessed with security.
[ Donatello .]
He's got blasters everywhere.
It's those robots that worry me.
Michelangelo, draw their fire.
- Raphael, take out their weapons.
- You've got it! Come on, chip heads! Hit me with your best shot! En garde, you two-bit tin can! [ Shouts .]
Weapons nonfunctional.
Retreat.
Not so fast, chrome boy.
Okay, we disarmed them.
Um, now what? We ride them into the building! We are admitting intruders to penetrate the building.
Activate the neural net.
That doesn't look good.
[ Leonardo .]
And we'll never get past it.
So much for our escape route.
If we don't find a way out of here, we're gonna get french fried! And we're all out of hallway.
There! [ Leonardo .]
Well, we're right back where we started.
One thing's for sure-- Dregg doesn't want any intruders.
All the more reason why we've got to find out what he's up to.
Yeah, but I don't see how we'll ever get past all those defenses.
[ Carter .]
So they think they can get along without me.
[ Static Crackling .]
Hey, Dregg! We need to talk.
Hmm.
The brat who fought against me with those Turtles.
You just forfeited your life, human! Hey, crank it down a couple of decibels, big boy.
- I want to do business with you.
- Are you mad, earthling? No, just smart.
I know a winning side when I see one.
And I have information that could be very valuable to you.
You're brash and arrogant! I admire that.
Meet me in the alley behind Dregg Tower in 30 minutes.
I'm here, Dregg-head.
So where are you? Lord Dregg couldn't be here, so he sent us instead.
You guys think you can take me? Think again! [ Tires Screeching .]
[ Shouting, Grunting .]
You're going down, techno-scum! Yaah! Oh! Hyah! Ah! [ Dregg .]
You have passed the test with flying colors, human.
Escort our young friend up to the executive suite.
What's with all the heavy-duty electronics? Doing a little remodeling? Much more than that.
But never mind that now.
Now, human, you have my attention.
What have you got to offer me? Plenty.
I have skills, and I know this world.
You don't.
I see.
So you want to help me.
I need you to lure the Turtles to me.
They're a threat to my plans to save this misera-- I mean, uh, little planet.
But if you think you're not up to the task-- I'll get you the Turtles-- signed, sealed and delivered.
I just don't see another way into that building.
What about Carter? Who? Our friend took a big fat powder on us, Sensei.
But you may still need him if Donatello's findings about the mutagen are correct.
That's right.
My sample started becoming unstable.
Whoa! You mean we might change? Or lose our mutant powers altogether? In either event, I feel we will need Carter more than ever.
He's not much of a team player, Master Splinter.
Do not be too hasty in your judgment.
Perhaps his reckless actions disguise good intentions.
[ Communicator Chirps .]
Hey, guys.
It's me.
Carter! Where on earth have you been? Diggin' up the dirt on Dregg.
And I've got somethin' you're gonna like.
[ Sighs .]
You shouldn't be doing this on your own.
Hey, you want to get into Dregg's building, you come to me.
Meet me at the old armory.
All right.
Let's see what he's got.
[ Donatello .]
Carter says he can get us inside Dregg's tower, April.
That's some trick to get through that state-of-the-art security.
This I gotta see.
I'll be there.
[ Leonardo .]
This place could stand a little sprucing up.
- [ Carter .]
Lookin' for me? - Okay, Carter.
Let's go.
[ Michelangelo .]
The Hi-Tech! You deviant scum aren't going anywhere-- except as my prisoners.
Dudes, can it be that-- I'd say our so-called friend just sold us out.
Come on! Let's take these mecha-maniacs! [ Leonardo .]
There's too many of 'em! Hit the deck! [ All Shouting .]
What the-- Well done, Carter.
You have proven your worth to our master, Lord Dregg.
I can't believe it.
Carter set us up.
[ Car Approaching .]
[ April .]
Could things get any worse? [ Screeching .]
Oh, if I'm gonna help the Turtles expose Dregg for the fraud he really is, I've gotta follow them.
Oh, here goes nothing! [ Grunts .]
[ Gasps, Screams .]
[ Grunting .]
Looks like there's no place to go but down! Where's Carter? How did you get him to betray us, Dregg? You should choose your friends more wisely, mutant.
The lad was only too happy to sell you out.
And you might consider following his example.
- What? - You're mutants, freaks, outcasts of society.
You have no loyalty to those humans.
You're better than they are.
Why not join me? And together we will rule this world! Are you through? Go suck an egg, space scum! If you will not join me, you will be destroyed! [ Beeps .]
[ Power Humming .]
[ Michelangelo .]
Oh, man.
Not that thing again! We've gotta get out of these clamps somehow.
There's something on the side of these slabs.
It could be a release switch.
Try and reach it.
[ Raphael .]
Make it fast, dudes, before we get fricasseed! [ Grunts .]
Can't quite reach it.
What in the-- My arm? What's happening to it? Guys, I think our mutations are changing! As if we didn't have enough problems.
I'd say maybe we just got a preview of our future.
Dude, if we don't get out of here, we aren't gonna have a future.
- Hang on, guys! - Carter, what are you doing? Getting you out of here.
What's the matter, Carter? Have a sudden attack of conscience? Yeah.
You nearly got our shells roasted.
Sorry, guys.
Things didn't go exactly as I planned.
But I got you inside the building, didn't I? You mean, you didn't really switch sides? You think I'd join that space creep, betray the whole human race? No way! Besides, I found out what Dregg's up to.
And we gotta work fast.
All right, Carter.
But from now on, be a team player.
You got it.
Dregg's turning this whole building into a fortress.
We got to shut down the weapons system before he gets it online.
But this place is like a maze.
How are we gonna find it? [ Communicator Chirps .]
It's April, guys.
I'm in the basement.
There's some kind of huge arsenal down here.
Does that answer your question? Hang on, April.
We're on our way.
Now, what's the fastest way to the basement? Try the elevator, dude! Cowabunga! [ Donatello .]
If we can link the systems together, a single explosion should take all the weapons out.
Great! But how do we set off the explosion? Uh, that part I haven't figured out yet.
I've got the whole arsenal on tape.
This will show the world what a warlord Dregg really is.
[ Beeps .]
The systems are all linked.
Now to set them off somehow.
You won't be setting anything off.
Destroy them! Dudes, we are way outnumbered! But not out-weaponed.
Back off, metal mouth.
Yaah! Aah! Yaah! [ Grunts .]
You will pay dearly for deceiving Lord Dregg, human.
Carter's in trouble! Gotta get free.
Gotta get-- [ Roaring .]
I don't believe it! That weird mutant is Carter! Wow.
That kid's just full of surprises.
[ Growling .]
Whoa.
Way to go, Carter! You fool! A stray blast could destroy this whole building! Are you thinking what I'm thinking? Yeah.
If we could get Dregg mad enough and lure him over near those missiles-- [ Whistles .]
Hey, fish face! Over here! Insolent mutant! I'll rip you out of your shell! [ Shouts .]
You and what army, moon goon? Come on, space cadet.
Yeah, hit us with your best shot.
That I will! [ Grunts .]
You will pay for this, deviants! I am Dregg, Supreme Warlord of the Galaxy! Oh, yeah? You look like a big loser to me.
I'll show you.
I'll show the world! No! No! [ Alarm Beeping .]
Weapons systems overload.
To the Dreggnaught.
We must flee.
My mini-cam! No time, April.
We gotta book! But it's got the record of Dregg's evil.
We gotta go! And when I spilled a drop of that mutagen on me, I had no idea anything like this would happen.
Whoa.
That means the mutagen's even more unstable than we thought.
That might explain the bizarro arm trick.
I don't know if I can handle all this.
Your mutation can be a great boon or a curse.
The choice is up to you.
But, Sensei, your mutation could be changing too.
The future is fraught with mystery for all of us.
We will need each other more than ever in the days to come.
One thing's for sure-- you can count on me.
All right! From now on, we are a team.
